What will you do if/when the announcement is a disaster?

Ehm... I'll look for my Age of Empires 3 disks and install that.
Games with no stories, no characters, no nothing. Yey.
Though I guess I'll check the next Tomb Raider reboot.
You should really sit down with StarCraft II and the campaign there. Challenging on brutal and very good storytelling!

And then I'll spam a bit more.
And on the day of DA3's premiere, I'll visit the local show and make a fuss to the seller about the necessity of making love to a old dragon by the main protagonist. I'll do that only, when somebody will try to grab a copy of that game.
And then I'll just buy a second copy of The Witcher 2. 'cause it'll be money better spent than on anything that will come out of BW.
And then I'll spam a lot more.

Then I'll come to BSN so I can make some passive-aggressive posts about how BioWare let me down.
If their decision not to change the endings in a manner I find appropriate is final, I'll go back to playing Tales of Graces and wait for the many other enjoyable games that will come out soon. KH3D, the PSP port of Persona 2: eternal punishment, etc. I'm not buying any ME3 DLC and, while I might show some interest in DA3 if it ever gets announced, I certainly won't pre-order anything from them.

Honestly even if they fix it i will stop buying their stuff anymore (after the DLC, but only if it is fixed). Bioware/EA has proven that they are out for only the money (EA has always done that) and not for the consumer. So, so long Bioware and EA, keep on making your cookie cutter, no talent games that the masses will eat up until they can't take it anymore. I'm not going to join in anymore, especially if the announcement/dlc is a disaster. You're a lost cause.

Bioware is dead, all that is left is a brand EA uses the garner sales.
Well said.

MP is already getting boring with only 6 maps, one mode, and 3 enemy factions.
SP is still enjoyable, but it needs some patches, and DLC!

As i said in another post, PAX is the last line of defence for me. If they break the line there, ill wash my hands off of Bioware and EA, no more swtor, no more mass effect, nothing.
untill then, i hold the line.
Agree. I hold the line, and still have hope.
Same here, I've been wondering though what... I'll do with all the swag I bought... the mug, the replica, the messenger bag, the Joker Hat, shirts, all of it... do I sell it? Do I put it in a box and hide it in storage or do I just keep it and get reminded of the rage and sadness I feel? And what if it is IT what if it makes sense of everything, what if none of that crap actually happened, part of me thinks "Awesome that means I can go on loving Bioware, and Mass Effect!" but another part of me says "What the hell? If it is IT then that means I paid $80 not just for an incomplete game, but for a game with an ending so sh**ty that it has to be explained!" And I might do some poking around to find out what the DLC actually is about... I might buy it... I might just walk away its a shame to cause I was really looking forward to DA3... why the hell do I fell like I'm getting ready for a breakup? Its a frellin' game company... ugh!

That said, if Bioware drops the ball here and tries to come out with some sort of hamfisted "clarification" DLC, then they'll really have pooched things for themselves.
Either way, unless they come up with something brilliant here in the next few months to address the ending, they're going to have to live with highly deflated DLC sales and noticeable negative impacts on future new title sales.
Unless you plan on dropping cash in the 9 digit range here, methinks that's not going to keep Bioware going for longImperium Alpha wrote...

i've been with biioware back in the day they were black isle... back in the baldurs gate era... i've followed them since then. and there has always been some setbacks and some mistakes but it's still always been worth it.
Yet now... with this ending... i can't say i want to stay with them any more... if this is just left as it is... it is too much pain. It really does feel like breakup because i invested so much emotion into the game i cared so much about the characters...
the games ending does not do our love for the game justice... and the ending must be changed i believe.
and if it isn't... then i agree... take my wallet and leave. it's the only thing i can do.
