I was going to buy the "kingdoms of al-whatever" game they came out with recently, but I heard it was an "eh" game.... after playing ME3, I have no desire to get it. If DLC is just more of the same... again, I'll lack the desire to give them money.
I will say that of EA's games, the one I'll miss most is Kingdoms of Amalur. I think they did a bang-up job with it, and they didn't cheat people by half-assing any given aspect of the game to deliver it up as DLC later...
..but it's EA. And if I want to put pressure on BioWare, I can't do that without also putting pressure on EA.

Actually ME3 is already quoted in a Forbes interview about this : <With "Prometheus" Ridley Scott perfects what "Mass Effect 3" missed>.

They need to seriously take a step back and look at how angry everyone is!

With Diablo 3, The Secret World and Guild Wars 2 all coming out soon I really dont need to buy anything from BW for a while anyway. Depends on BW how long that while will be.
Indeed.
Bioware fails us, there's enough Diablo III for the years to come. It's up to them if I'll put some money aside to still buy Bioware products in future while playing something else.

I'm still holding out for indoctrination theory, or some other retcon. If the Reapers' motivation really is to stop a technological singularity, and the Normandy really is stranded on some shoe-horned Garden of Eden/Adam and Eve reference planet, and Shepard is DEAD, and the Mass Relays are gone and Interstellar travel is no longer possible - then they have retroactively ruined the greatest sci-fi video game series of all time.

If Bioware still think the endings they made are 'perfect' even with the fan's reactions, I think I won't be interested in anything Bioware has to offer after that.

Agreed... i think most polls i've found is about 90% of the people hate the current endings... when 90% of your fans hate your current ending i think you should step back and just admit it isn't what they want... and if you want to keep the fans happy then give them what they want...
give us what we want Bioware...

Bethesda must be laughing at Bioware's epic stupidity and patting themselves on the back for the way they handled the gaming community's response to Fallout 3's ending.

If it turns out to be a bad news for us fans,
I'll never buy another BioWare game and move on to Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3 and never turn back.
I'll always remember to tell anyone I know who's buying video games to stay away from BioWare
Both GW2/D3 will be epic and I'm sure ArenaNet and Blizzard are smart enough to avoid making RPG with such huge ending controversy in the video gaming industry.

thanks. and yeah Bioware is kind of being too proud about their situation... they should just take a step back and realise that there is a reason so many fans are angry...

I'm a Trekkie (not a crazy one, but a solid one) and I was ready for ME to be my new Trek -- or at least supplement it. I used to call ME "the best Star Trek game ever made." I was excited to think about all the cool stuff I could get: comics, books, shirts, hats, patches etc.
ME3 was to be the zenith of it all, the game that solidified everything for me. See, ME1 was my first RPG so I clumsily chugged through it, I only did side quests by accident. ME2, I did a few side quests and took my time a little more. But with ME3, I went all out, I still didn't do all the side quests, but I did the best I could and made a point to talk to every single person between missions to get the full story.
And it all wound up biting me in the ass.
There was so much potential, not just for ME3 or the story, but for a real, solid sci-fi franchise to rise up and finally take the reins from Star Wars and Trek... a passing of the torch maybe. But that potential was wasted completely.
Shatner said in The Captain's Summit that Gene Roddenberry knew the secret to entertainment. He knew that in the end, people tended to gravitate towards positive things, positive ideas. Trek had this in spades. So did Mass Effect... until that ending tried to get clever.
And now we know. Gene was right. Mass Effect has fallen and was cut short of its full potential.
Whatever, I'll just go buy seasons of DS9 and TOS. Sci-fi fans will always have Trek. Because Paramount's not stupid.
I would've thought that someone enjoying star trek would be able to forgive bad endings. TNG, DS9 anv Voyager all have pretty crappy endings, with the TNG one including a bunch of messed up time travel errors.
Still enjoyed all the other episodes of those series though. Well, not all, but most, there's a bunch of other "not so good" episodes apart from the ending ones to

If it does end up being a disaster for me, I will still try to enjoy the Mass Effect games, and still consider BioWare titles in the future. I just won't jump in blindly or pre-order, or get excited about their games like I used to.

I think Bioware is trying very hard to get rid of the old costumers , well they can live without my money , and i can live without rushed and unfinished "artistic" games.
Costumers? Didnt realize that Bioware had people that make costumes.

If that's the case.. I'll chalk it up to the developers having read Song of Ice and Fire too many times and taken up George R.R. Martin's taste for killing off favorite characters when you least expect it (only to bring them back as a zombie?? Bioware would definitely be trolololing us then.)
