The only choice you had was if he’d wear red, blue, or green socks. And yeah, he kept his socks on the entire time.

look while the sex comparisons are kind of apt and make sense... you're really making me feel rather ill with that.. i now keep picturing the Starchild as pretty much the individual you are describing... and while it's fitting... it does make me want to shoot him some more... l´for like another hour or so...

also as to keeping your socks on... hell yes if the floor is freezing cold...

I'm sure my reaction will count as comparatively mild.

I did already cancel my Old Republic account. I wasn't playing it much anyway, but now it's a question of principle. If the best case is that I have to pay for a DLC ending and the worst case is they released a rushed shoddy product for $60, then I have to recoup that somewhere.

I will defintely not be pre-ordering another product from these guys, ever. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'm not going to blanket-boycott the entire company, but I would probably say that I'll wait until the price drops and I can buy used, no matter what the reviews say. Let someone else get burned on first-day purchases.

But that's about the extent of it.They made a product I didn't like (well, I didn't like 10 minutes of it), so they're going to have to do much better on future games to re-earn my business. I still think they could do it, because the 98% of the game I like suggests there's talented people there, but it's not a slam-dunk like it used to be.

I won't be buying any DLC (one of the only IPs I ever bought DLC for) or any more of their games. If they can consciously destroy a beloved series like this, I don't trust them to not do it again. I will never again recommend their games to anybody who will listen; instead I will deter them from buying BioWare.

I'll just continue like I have been. I'm not sure why everyone is expecting a big announcement or why people get their hopes up for a "new ending" DLC? I'm not expecting the ending to be "rectified" in any way, especially through in-game content. It sounds like a lot of you are just setting yourselves up for inevitable disappointment.

I'll continue playing MP, until that gets boring. I've already decided not to pre-order Bioware's games again and to actually wait and see if they can develop a decent game again, seeing as their recent track record isn't exactly stellar, regardless of what the "critics" say.

Maybe they can make it work, but the ending is so bad any attempt at "clarification" might be like polishing a turd.

Nothing.  I'm already not doing anything for Bioware at the moment.  I'll regain faith in Bioware and start playing their games/DLC again if the announcement is good.  If it's 'meh' or bad, I will continue to not care and do nothing.  Really, the only thing that will change is that I will stop wasting my time checking these forums for updates, I'll just entirely give up on them and move on with my life.

Roll widdit. I love Mass Effect pretty effing hard, but the overall story after ME1 never grabbed me nearly as much as the setting itself (might be the goddamn finest and most well-realized sci-fi setting I've ever seen). Which is good, because subsequent playthroughs aren't ruined for me like they are for some.

If they release DLC that looks good, I'll pick it up. For now, I just started a new playthrough in DA2, and I'm looking forward to that.

...i'll continue my (third) playthrough of ME3, and probably make some more, plus MP.
An ending won't turn me off a great game. Sure, it dampens the story, but the main game and gameplay are still good.

If none of our complaints are heard, i think i'll abandon this account and also stop buying Bioware games.
If the announcement is some DLC that explains what endings we now have, i'll abandon this account to make Bioware notice. I'll stop buying their games, i'll stop spreading info to my friends, or lend them my Bioware games (even tho that is now impossible with 3) and stop discussing things that are then meaningless to talk about.

Anyone plan to do the same thing? I'd just love it ,if this announcement turns out to be a disaster, for the Bioware Mass Effect forums to just go completely dark, and for Bioware to really understand "Oops, we messed up bad".

In the end that would be the only way for Bioware to listen to us.

 I'll sell my copies of the Mass Effect games, which I was honestly pretty close to doing already before the ending revision was announced.  

I might put video of it on youtube so that I have a response to those "lol, see you in a week" trolls.  Posting said video in the BSN forums will be the last post I ever make here.
