We went to Thessia. Palaven would be cool, i dont mind going there, but Illium was a major major part of the Universe in ME2 and it deserves more than a single secondary codex reference in ME3...

Are you trying to jinx Illium or something? The way places get important in ME3 is by having the crap blown out of them.

No I just want to make sure that I will actually save this amazing city from the damn Reapers! :)

Excuse me but what?

Omega and Illium are "new planets"? Since ME2 maybe, but in ME3 no.

All I meant by new was that they're not in ME3

Ilium is a minor world of only a few million people.  It's not all that important really.

We went to Thessia for one short mission.  We only visited Palaven's moon.  They're the capitals of the greatest powers in the galaxy.

I think Illuim wasn't included, because Reapers took over as information brokers and now they rule the market.

Well, Sur'Kesh was kinda hub-worldish when you got there... though that only last a few conversations.

I get the feeling Illium might come up later as DLC:

Sometimes, when I go from a cluster to another, I saw a dot which wasn't any of the the clusters I've unlocked (and at that time I had the Cerberus HQ mission open!) and that looked like the Crescent Nebula.

I'm sure you also got this.

^^ Yes i encountered that thing myself. I really do hope we visit it somehow. besides Liara is extremely tied with the place and perhaps we can visit it some more! :)

If the BioWare devs ate West Nile virus riddled super spicy tacos and vindaloo curry, what would come out of them over the next few days could be packaged as DLC and would be an improvement on this, "work of art", called Mass Effect 3.
