I still cannot reply to threads. I can only create threads. Sorry to start a new one, but this is my only means of communication here.

I have created these two threads:

Can't reply anymore - ( http://social.biowar...c/6/index/74792 )
"You requested an invalid topic" - ( http://social.biowar...c/6/index/75375 )

One user was kind enough to reply to the second thread. And he reported that he got the "You requested an invalid topic" message on the first one.

Now it gets even more weird. When I tried to reply to him (in the second thread) I got the error message "You are not allowed to execute this action!". A second attempt to reply or even trying to open the thread gave me the "You requested an invalid topic" error message again. And there are no replies to that thread anymore. They have disappeared.

When I started to create the current thread I got the mesage "Reply has been created" even though I was starting a new thread and I wasn't replying. I am going to hit submit and see what has happened.

Please fix this issue. People won't like it if all I can do here is start new threads.

Yes I get this about 60% of the time I try to post since yesterday. Getting really frustrating to even try using this site.



I've also had replies vanish later from threads.

Thanks for the reply, Jack!

This posting mess started after I deleted two DA:O characters. I am wondering if there is a connection.

Now two sets of DA:O characters show up: The deleted ones and the new ones. I am never sure which of the two will appear, though.

My account picture is also changing randomly. Sometimes I see a deleted one and sometimes a new one.

Edit: If people wonder why I can reply now then that's because I have found out that I need to ignore error messages and press refresh until they are gone. I then I have a chance that posting works. Most of the time it doesn't.

There may be a reference to a picture of a deleted character. I am going to try to remove it and see if that fixes some of the issues.

I have that too. So, tech support won't probably see our posts until they hit the refresh key a couple of times by accident.

I doubt the error is anything you can fix with your account. Too many of us have the same darn errors.

Agreed with NetBeans. I haven't deleted any of my characters out of my profile and I have the same problems of posts disappearing, not posting, and 'invalid topic' messages. I've almost given up using the site, but I enjoy talking with people on here too much (albeit with buggy posting and half my messages disappearing).



Hopefully it is rectified soon, otherwise it's probably best to deactivate the entire thing and get the bugs sorted out.

 I have registered my games and all that but still not allowed to post comments except on certain sections... what is with that? I have all registrations up and activated and am no pirate so what the hell???

A year ago, that comment in the quote above was added to a dead and buried thread related to server problems.  Every added comment from then on was more Necromancy.  The original two year old posts were dead, moldering in their graves, meaningless until Volkov violated their peace.  The rest of you all need a thread that has a relationship to actual current events. 

Use Bing, Google, Yahoo, et al, and add a redirection in order to locate pertinent threads correctly: 

site:social.bioware.com
