Isn't that just a texture overlay for Shepard's face when he/she is on the Citadel at the end?

that was what i also thought about right after i posted that link xD For maybe just at the first part of the ending video. 
But what i am certain of is that there was no character that cried in the ending videos so that file is kinda still out of place then

Might be for Ashley / Kaidan after they get hurt by Eva.

I noticed the file names when I looked over the BIK files back in March when I was looking for something I might have missed about the endings. Wish I could say I was surprised that it was as simply as it appeared.

Actually, I've just watched the IT documentory part 2.  Somebody in here mentioned in the files there is a new gun in the files for the game's end called Avenger.  Could it be the gun that Shepard's gun mystically changes into if you choose destroy?
