This is definately a case of reusing assets.....no sense renaming a character's model and textures just because his role in the story changes, don't read into this at all.  I do find it interesting that he's called "guardian" and not catalyst...but it may be a similar incident like how in Halo 2 all of the arbiter's files are refered to as "dervish" and his title was changed in the last stages of development

Right there on the ground on the left. Note the lighting and the colour grading -- they aren't going to show up green in these dreams here.

An image like this in the end files is very interesting, maybe cut content. This could be a "many years later" picture of earth to show that the galaxy managed to recover from the reaper war.

This is a big piece of evidence for IT. It confirms what people have been saying, that that was a Reaper growl. For those that don't know, the third novel (which is canon) describes Reapers making a growl when they make an indoctrination attempt or it fails or something. Either way the two are DIRECTLY related.

No, it just reaffirms they didn't bother making up a separate name for a kid that's never said in the game.

It is not a piece of evidence lmao. We didn't need game file to tells us we're hearing reaper growl. Everyone already knew that.

Weird thing is that it's Asari architecture. Which could indicate that at least the exploding mass relays are real and this shows how all the different races rebuilt earth.

No, they'd probably name it guardian even if the story section was with the actual kid, because the guardian prefix is what tells the engine to load his files.  Nothing to see here....it's a dead end.

Everyone heard but not everyone wanted to believe. Also not everyone knows the significance of the sound and what it shows was happening.

Ok, I have read through the thread now, and I see a lot of people talking about reused assets. I'm computer programmer too. If any texture is to be reused, they will not be stored more than once, unless the programmer is really stupid. So, as I said before, I'm at work right now, will get home late and wont have time to check it out. All we (read, anyone but me) have to do is take a look at the files concerning the "real" dreams (the ones we know for sure that are dreams, at least) and see which textures are there. Of course the textures from the Normandy scene could be rescaled and have their colors modified with the right "light". But I'm not so sure those textures are really the same ones used in the dreams. If there are specific textures for the dream sequences, then they would never do a "copy/paste" of the textures all over the place. They would just make a package with all the related textures in one place and then load as needed.

How about that glaucoma/tunnel-vision shader? That a simple reuse as well?

But it is a model for Guardian/Catalyst too so why wouldn't they name it like that?
