How about that glaucoma/tunnel-vision shader? That a simple reuse as well?
Good chance.

Ok, I have read through the thread now, and I see a lot of people talking about reused assets. I'm computer programmer too. If any texture is to be reused, they will not be stored more than once, unless the programmer is really stupid. So, as I said before, I'm at work right now, will get home late and wont have time to check it out. All we (read, anyone but me) have to do is take a look at the files concerning the "real" dreams (the ones we know for sure that are dreams, at least) and see which textures are there. Of course the textures from the Normandy scene could be rescaled and have their colors modified with the right "light". But I'm not so sure those textures are really the same ones used in the dreams. If there are specific textures for the dream sequences, then they would never do a "copy/paste" of the textures all over the place. They would just make a package with all the related textures in one place and then load as needed.
No, this is misinformation. I don't doubt that you are a programer but I'm pretty sure you don't work in game development. Again, in game development things are split into packages to reduce loading times so that it doesn't have to search for things across the disk to load into memory. If an asset is reused constantly throughout the game it is often given its own package (like shepard, or the squadmates), but oftentimes there are duplicated meshes and textures included in packets that are not necessaraly used often enough to have their own packets but which are used in multiple parts of the game.
