What makes anyone confident that BioWare will do more than sell an interactive comic book that tries to "explain" the crappy the ending we all got? It is quite clear that EA has already made its bank and that no one cares anymore. It's been nearly a month since the game's release. The media doesn't give any airtime to the Retake movement anymore. It's dead, and folks like me have moved on. From Mass Effect. From BioWare in general.

The upcoming PAX East conference will simply be another bit of PR doublespeak intended to soothe those who aren't intelligent enough to parse through the words.

There isn't going to be a new ending. Just a "clarified" one.

Give it up, comrades. It's time to seek something new to obsess over.

I've sort of given up too. I just lost all interest in BioWare and their games. I'm currently obsessed over CD Projekt and their awesome series The Witcher.

Mass Effect used to have a special place in my heart, but not anymore. The Witcher has now taken over that spot. It's just so much better and at least CDPR (CD Projekt Red) is awesome, actually listens to their fanbase and actually keeps their promises.

I'm going to wait and see how this plays out before I decide on anything. If they continue to disappoint me, I move on. No big deal.

I've got a plan in motion

1.Pax goes bad

2. Stop buying their games. Simple as that. It's not worth my time or effort to do anything more.[/quote]

3. Walk away.. forever. I know how to hold a grudge.

4. Give up on Bioware and set myself up for Diablo 3...

I'm going to give them a chance... Bioware has been an amazing company, they've made lots of brilliant games. Even ME3 was absolutely brilliant right up until the last 20 minutes or so...
so i'm willing to give them the chance to fix those last 20 minutes... if they don't... then i'll give up on them... but i'm still willing to hope...
the game series still has a hold on my heart... the ending hurt me... but the greatness of the series is still there for me.

If Bioware fails at PAX, "holding the line" takes on new meaning. They'd have called our bluff. They'd have taken the chance that we are, as they suspected, a minority.

Holding the line will mean that we make good on our threats. We turn our back not only on "bioware" but on the company it represents. We stop purchasing EA products in their many forms: Games, DLC, Novels. Anything. We encourage others to do the same. Bioware may be lost, but we can stop the practices that lead to their downfall. We can save future gaming companies from going down the path that Bioware did.

If you're going to give up on Bioware, take it one step further. Convince your friends to not boycott their products as well. I've already convinced 2 of my friends (the only 2 in my grp of friends who didn't preorder a copy of ME3) to no longer buy it. I'm also trying to convince one to abandon SWTOR. Just my small, insignificant way of giving one BIG FAT middle finger to EA and Bioware.

Despair is the enermy's greatest weapon. Do not let them wield it Zenoctilles. We must stay hopeful for the time being, until Bioware officially gives us a middle finger ending.

I'm invested in Mass Effect and Dragon Age, and I will see them out to their ends. New IPs will have to work hard to convince me that I should sit through dissapointment after dissapointment to get the things I consider to be good out of the series.

So as it stands, thin ice, but I've not yet abandoned them.

Gunna wait, see what happens with it then give up. A few more weeks can't hurt anything.

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until I see their solution to the problem. If I don't like it I'm walking away from Bioware, at least other companies don't disappoint in such spectacular ways.

Not to seem like a d*ck, but if you're truly finished with BW, if they now mean nothing to you, if you really are abandoning them...why are you still here?

I could understand the Cerberus people a few months back, because they had other stuff they were anticipating in ME3, so all their hopes weren't tied into that. But if BW truly means nothing to you, it puzzles me why someone would come on here and discuss how bad they are all the time.

I'm not really talking to you, OP. Just people who seem to hate everything, everything, about BW yet remain.
