I've given up on BioWare. You should too.

What makes anyone confident that BioWare will do more than sell an interactive comic book that tries to "explain" the crappy the ending we all got? It is quite clear that EA has already made its bank and that no one cares anymore. It's been nearly a month since the game's release. The media doesn't give any airtime to the Retake movement anymore. It's dead, and folks like me have moved on. From Mass Effect. From BioWare in general.

The upcoming PAX East conference will simply be another bit of PR doublespeak intended to soothe those who aren't intelligent enough to parse through the words.

There isn't going to be a new ending. Just a "clarified" one.

Give it up, comrades. It's time to seek something new to obsess over.

I smell a lockdown coming

Their MO does seem to be to lockdown any criticism that is too on the nose.  The only exception seems to be the funny pictures thread.

Saying that the end nullified your efforts in he game is like saying that living is pointless because both you, your friends and family and Earth will die one day.

Life is not a game.

I don't like people telling me what to do. You gave up on Bioware? Your choice. But don't tell me to d the same.

^THIS. We play these games to get away from life for a while. Not to be reminded of it.

Exactly. I deal with enough garbage I don't want to see more crap in a game, especially when all the crew was so very optimistic and talking about what they would do after. I just don't know where else to go. Bioware is the only company that makes games where you can be a girl, customize your apperance, have companions to interact with and romance. Gaming in the future looks like a massive hole of despair to me.

Really, really not getting why people are so hung up on Pax being the definitive date for something to happen. Yeah, it's a big event, but they only said they'd announce something in April. There's a lot of April after Pax too, so I'll be giving them the benefit of the doubt for the rest of the month.
