Actually, I got those backwards. Kal'Reegar. And Bailey (what can I say? Men in uniform...)
I half expected the e-mail about Kal'Reegar to be in my junk mail. An E-MAIL?! COME ON. Tali couldn't have told you in some tear-filled emotionally charged moment?
Shepard: "Tali, it must be hard watching your people go through so much suffering."
Tali: "There have been many terrible losses Shepard. You remember Kal'Reegar don't you? The marine on Haestrom who kept the Geth distracted until you came?"
Shepard: "Yes, I do."
Tali: "I received a report a little while ago from Palaven. He's was killed, along with his entire squad, protecting a communication beacon. It was one the Turians were using to relay information straight to the Hierarchy..."
And then some Paragon/Renegade options. Either Shepard laments with Tali, or is like "another casualty of war. He was a soldier, he understood this." Blah blah blah.
