As a rule i prefer SP a great deal over MP in any game, but with mass effect 3 i find myself enjoying MP far more than SP. i Have only played SP once and played MP all the time! the next DLCpackage i'm hoping for is MP finetuning!
any other hardline SP players prefer MP?

I wouldn't say I prefer, per se. But I do notice that after a few rounds of MP going back to SP the action seems much slower and more spread out.

While I ended up enjoying the multiplayer, I'd sacrifice it in a nanosecond for more single player.

I honestly find the MP a little dull. If you end up in a good group it can be fun, but its repetitive, and I really dislike the reward system. Mainly play it to keep galactic readiness up.
As someone mentioned above, I would sacrifice it for more SP content.

MP was fun for the first 3 days. Then it gets repetetive. Used up time and money that could've gone into fleshing out SP. A shame, really.

So would I while it is a nice diversion... I didn't buy it for MP.

I think MP is pretty fun, although lately it seems like two out of every three games either has the host drop mid-match and the game aborted, or has such terrible lag between myself and the host that I chase a cannibal around emptying entire clips into it without its health moving.
Usually these things happen when I decide to activate good one-match-only equipment.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the multiplayer. I can't really stand to play the single player again right now, but the MP is good fun. I was concerned at how the two systems would be integrated, but overall I feel they did a pretty nice job (notwithstanding that you can't get the "best" ending without doing MP, and the large war asset boost you get from each promoted MP character). Although I definitely won't be buying any DLC for MP until and unless something happens regarding the ending to increase my satisfaction level.

I like multiplayer, it's hella fun with friends and I finally get to play as a quarian. But it's pretty shallow and doesn't come close to the levels of awesomness single player can provide.
After they fix the ending, I'll gladly pay for new MP content.

I wouldn't say I prefer MP to SP as they don't really compare. But I do play a lot of the MP game. And as someone who hardly ever played an MP game before, even on MMO's I rarely played with anyone else, it's quite a feat that ME's got me enjoying multiplayer
