So, what about, instead of all these separate romance DLCs and ending-DLC, BioWare made an actual expansion-DLC, like Dragon Age Origins: Awakening?
Another chance given to Shepard and a straight continuation with the goal of driving the final remains of the reapers/reaper-tech/Cerberus back into dark space/darkspace/extinction.
And a chance to continue your romance with your LI.

Yesssss, I would much rather an expansion and continuation of the story then episodic DLC's that are contained on their own and fit into the original story somewhere (IE: the supposed Omega dlc)
Good shout!

I much prefer expansions over smaller DLC. I sure miss those days...
Seems like expansions are almost non existent for most games now.

I think that would be cool personally. It would give them a lot of room to do stuff with and hopefully yes give a conitnuation of li stuff.

No need to make an expansion if it's to retcon it in Mass Effect 4.

What's the difference really? DLC just means it's downloaded content. To my knowledge there is no legal restrictions on length or price as opposed to expansions.
Asking because I honestly don't see the difference myself. Both cost money (most of the times), and both add content to the main game and thus require the main game.

It would expand it, not negate the point of it.

Ok, wasn't quite clear on the definitions between expansion and DLC, as it seems like a fairly grey area to me. Thanks for explaining.

There was a time when expansions were the only thing sold smaller than full games, and were actually f*cking awesome (WC3 Frozen Throne, looking at you

Big thumbs up here. They could even introduce characters like they did in Awakenings which could carry on in a main game.

Hell yes. But I don't mind DLC as long as the DLC is good. I mean it's not like video games are cheap to make if you want any sort of asthetic appeal.Tirigon wrote...
