Bioware should wise up I mean look how amazing Dragon Age Origins was even its DLC had amazing story and characters ME is my favorite game and I feel they should really make this happen it's like I know not every bodies Shepard lived but what about the normandy was EDI killed or did they some how escape the blast and why did my Shepard's dog tags move at the end. This should not make up a new game and if they do make an ME 4 Shepard should only be mentioned or at best be like your persons mentor. But with an expansion these questions and many others could be answered and I think most fans will have more closer to a character they made and put five years into. Hope Bioware reads this thread and see's that the fans want this. They lost enough faith this might just bring it back.

If the majority of fans are upset at the ending because of the lack of LI content, well, I don't really think they have a legitimate reason for being angry.

True but the LI's are a big part of ME it's in many ways to show what you are fighting for. It shows your not fighting for yourself or people who you will never see again but those you love. There the people who helped Shepard thru his hard decisions they stood by his side so I can see why the lack of LI content pissed people off.

Well you run into a continuity problem. The end of ME3 is supposed to be the end...that's it, happy or not so happy ending. You have galactic peace, not much conflict there to be had for an expansion. Or well...a sequel, I'm not really sure how they are going to make ME4.

Yes, I would buy it. I'd be totally okay with the story continuing on after the end, like in Fallout 3 with Broken Steel. Its hinted that Shepard survives in the destroy ending, so why not continue it. To me, Shepard lives and the story continues.

Of course, Bioware will never do this.
