1.) Will there be any returning party members either from Origins or DAII, and if so who?

2.) So far the plot of DAIII has been vaguely described as 'saving the world from itself'. Can this be elaborated upon? Is it another resurgence of Darkspawn? Or is it the Mage/Templar war? Or is it another Qunari Invasion? All three?

3.) Will multiple character origins return from Origins? If so, which ones?

4.) What has the development team learned from BOTH the praise and criticism of Dragon Age II? I know you guys worked hard on the game and received some good and terrible critiques to the work, so I'd like to hear what ideas you're bringing to the table for Dragon Age III.

Will the homophobic letter campaign to EA get rid of all characters who were same-sex LIs in the previous games?

Will we see this in da3? I would like to use the somonari arts to enter morrigans mind to help her remember flemeth stealing her from her loving parents and watch how it changes her personally. Start the game in a unknown dream state where the warden and morrigan went through the mirror and are sharring a dream together. You battle darkspawn and help a elven mage and human search for there stolen daughter. It gives up darkspawn lore and morrigan family lore. and they wake up to find it was just a dream but forever changed by the knowledge of what happened. This is a base idea using warden and morrigan as charters.

As I see it, ambitious game like DA 2 would have worked better with more npc:s to talk to. So my question is: Will there be more npcs to interact with outside of companions in the next DA game?

When you guys set out to make the Dragon Age storyline, did you have an overarching plot line in mind, and outline to last several games, or are you guys making up as you go, installment by installment?

Are you still aiming for it to be the spiritual successor of Baldur's Gate2, or is DA it's own thing now?

Here's my questions for the team so here it goes.

1) What's the location this time?
2) What companions are returning for you to add to your party? I would love an number not be told unless you want to but still surprises are good.
3) How the events in DA 2 spill over in DA 3?

Those are my questions for the DA team.

Will companion custonisation be coming back in full

These 2 questions also had an awnser in NYCC 2011 panel:

(The Location question after 4:30;
The Customization question after 5:35)

As you had to drop Exalted March, would you consider releasing that story as a book, fill in the storyline that way?

Yea that's right Bioware. You're all meanieheads. Be thankful that's all I've called you thus far. You have ruined everything because you forgot to answer our questions. The series is ruined. My sandwich is ruined. My life is ruined.

I imagine that these questions will be answered on the forums, or at least whichever of them they were planning on answering.

There are a few that I might even answer. I know, try to contain your excitement.

I believe that Mike Laidlaw said something about going somewhere 'French' in the next game. So Orlais is basically confirmed there. :)

Do you have more resources/time to implement a top down view like in Origins for PC users?

I have great memories of being able to zoom out in Origins. I love that top down view of the landscape and of the whole party. I tried to replay DA2 when Legacy was released and it reminded me how bad the camera view felt in DA2.

The top down view was one of the great strengths of the PC version of DA:O. That I could not even imagine playing a console version of DA:O. Please don't give PC version a substandard camera view just to equalise the experience with consoles.

No. DA3 will take place in an Orlesian run brothel in Antiva the whole game. We will never go to Orlais.

IF you Bioware have so much more resources and planning to add a multiplayer co-op in DA3, why not make the Thedas as big and as free to roam a la Skyrim?

I don't know but to me Bioware has excelent writing team that can make a great story, I know they are capable of working on something that big and who knows bioware might even pull a few players from Bethesda who after the sales seems getting millions of players playing Skyrim.

So? Is bioware ready to grab the 3 cats that wants multiplayer or are they going after a big crowd who want a big single player world?

Toolset? is bioware going to release a toolset after da3 is out?

bethesda gave a toolset for skyrim and their game is 3 times bigger that DAO and DA2 put together and yes, their game target console players too, i suppose skyrim console players discovered that is their choice where they want to play skyrim and not ruin everyone also experience because of them not been able to use mod's in a console.
