Krogan Stunlocking: Bug or balance?

I've tried unsuccessfully in the main ME3 multiplayer forum to get an answer whether Krogans getting stunlocked (stunned by shooting or melee so that they can't move or act multiple times in a row) is a balance mechanism or a bug.  No other race has this disadvantage and (combined with the krogans' lack of a dodge and lack of regenerating health) this makes them remarkably less survivable than other races, especially if you actually try to take advantage of all the melee upgrades as they generally mean you're not getting the extra health and shields.  Here are some recaps of my previous personal examples of krogan multiplayer issues...  Officially answering whether this is a series of bugs or on purpose would help significantly in framing the discussion of krogans in multiplayer.

" My personal stun record was five in a row when a Geth Prime on silver caught me RUNNING BY A WINDOW and stunned me with the first plasma shot... followed by two more... followed by two rocket troopers who joined in on the fun... In that roughly 7 seconds, I went from full health and shields with tech armor and its inherent damage reduction to bleeding out on the floor without even being able to move away from the window due to the continuing stun effect."

"  I forgot to mention the husk grapple but have also unfortunately experienced that as well (three in a row is my record there). It's strange to me that a 120lb salarian is just as easily grappled by a husk as a 600lb krogan... yet another disadvantage making up for no real advantage. They get some extra health/shields but this is more than offset by the larger hit box, inability to dodge, and increased vulnerability to stuns. In addition to other races/classes being more survivable in actual play, those other races/classes also deal more damage on average due to better shooting weapon bonuses/abilities as well as the almight biotic explosion availability (of which the krogans have zero access to). Their only real specialization of melee combat just ends up getting them into trouble half the time due to wonky hit detection with heavy melees as well as the previously mentioned stun effect."

"I've only noticed the other races be completely staggered by an Atlas missle hit whereas the krogan stops everything he is doing from any missle/plasma/shotgun/melee. When I'm playing as an asari and take a hit that would stunlock a krogan (like a Prime plasma hit), my aim goes off and there is a bit of a visual bump but otherwise I can go about my business as long as the damage doesn't drop me. As a krogan, you're just stuck there for a second without any recourse.."

" This weekend I *almost* got killed by a single geth hunter on silver with a fully tanked out krogan soldier at full health and shields. I ran by a corner and slowed down to make the turn (krogans are not great at tight cornering!) and ran right by a geth hunter. He proceeded to melee stun me.. followed by a shotgun blast with a stun... followed by another melee with a stun... and finally another shotgun blast which only partly hit me due to finally getting to move a few inches between stuns... all of which dropped all my shields and 2 boxes of health over 4-5 seconds during which I could do absolutely nothing despite jamming down on my thumbsticks/buttons. If I had been playing as ANY other class, I would have taken a bit of damage with the first melee but would otherwise be unaffected and would keep going without any issues. Because I'm a "hardly and tough" krogan, I apparently am required to stop dead in my tracks for further doses of damage! Ughh..."

" My friends and I were playing on Firebase Dagger (IIRC, that's the borderlands-ish satellite dish level) and 3 of us were in the long hallway coming out of the circular room... the asari up in front, human in the middle, and my krogan guarding the rear. A geth prime out in the middle of the map saw the human and fired off his triple salvo of plasma cannon shots with the first one actually hitting the human player dead on. The human player lost some shields but just kept moving as did the next closest player who was the asari.. my krogan, despite being FURTHEST from the blast was stunned by the first and subsequent two blasts that hit the wall (as the human player who was the target had moved away). I was the FURTHEST from the blast yet I was the only one stunlocked by the explosions."

The only way to ensure a response from BioWare is to have the Grissom Academy load screen freeze bug and post in the thread.  If you don't meet those requirements then, unfortunately, you're likely SOL.

I tried the krogan soldier for the first time last night, was level 18 melee/absorption specced, got in a random game and noticed being stunlocked by pretty much every Geth there is. Seems even the Pyro flamethrower would stuck me, I couldn't get away but it could have been something else hitting me at the same time.

The geth pyro flames don't stun but they sure do take advantage of the situation when every single other robot in the geth force does it.
