Can we just stop taking lumps out of each other over the ending? It is completely and utterly pointless.

The RME supporters have a point and VALID concerns, and they have a right to voice them in a sensible fashion that respects others, but that doesn't give certain sections of the anti-current-ending movement to insult people that can grok the endings in whatever fashion they so choose.

That being said, all the current conjecture and, yes, it is conjecture, over any future changes or DLC (free or otherwise) that Bioware may or may not develop has not in anyway been officially confirmed or denied, therefore why are you all stood at the gates with torches and pitchforks when there's no one in the house yet? You're just inviting criticism of your stance.

For people that can rationalise the endings, that IS fine. No, they're not stupid, or blind to plot holes but understand that their appreciation of the game and the story (and not just the last 10 minutes) is different from yours. But by the same notion, people who dislike the endings feel aggrieved and this is a fair, reasonable and valid view to have as well.

I understand your concerns, on both sides of the argument; your depth of feeling, your passion, your desire to have a story and ending that does justice to YOUR Shepard and the squadmates and universe you have become so invested in, but don't let that override all at the expense of your reason or your patience, as it will have no happy outcome, no matter what happens with the ME3 endings.
