Sorry if this is covered somewhere already, I couldn't find anything about it in a search.

I wish to DL the "Warden's Keep" DLC, but I have zero points.  I click the button to add points, and a browser opens & I come to the bioware website (http://social.biowar...28YCn4q1AAAKDw.)

There appears a field to enter my password (above it says "you must confirm your password before going to the checkout:").

But when I enter the password, I just get a message saying "The login details you provided were invalid. Please try again"

I've even gone as far as to reset my password & I get the same problem every time.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

I would hope I get a little more credit than to be assumed retarded enough to not check the caps lock.

And if I can log into the forums here with the same, then it would seem to be more of a problem than typos & caps locks, wouldn't it?

Thanks for your reply anyway.

Has anyone else attempted to add points to their account? I'm wondering if they've gone thru this process & either seen or not see what I'm seeing.

Try adding Bioware points directly from http://social.bioware.com after logging in (the site).

I have no problems. I just tried to add points from social.bioware.com, it takes me to the same page you appear to be having problems with. I entered in my password and it accepted it.

Have you tried deleting your cookies?

try logging in and keeping the browser open, it should register that your logged in and take you directly to the page.

Dont snap at people telling you capslock and other simple solutions, more often then not it is the solution unfortunantly.

Unfortunately when I get that that screen & click to add points, it takes me to the same password screen that gets me the same results... invalid info.

I had previously deleted cookies, but just went thru it again after seeing your post & on a hunch deleted "Authenticated Sessions" as well.  I ended up having to go thru the entire login process at the main Bioware page as before, but this time when I went to add points it went right thru to the purchase screen without even seeing that password screen.

Thanks for the help!

atleast you had your problem fixed.... whenever i click the "add bioware points" i just gets taken to my profile page and then nothing what-so-ever happens... as i would like to buy the "return to ostagar" dlc and play through it before the new Awakening comes out this gets a bit annoying.

also:
i'm kinda stupified that even though this game is on steam (where i bought my Speciel edition) its DLC is not!? this makes everything so much harder and is an unnecesary evil IMO? ... anyhow i'm sure its been adressed just annoys the bug out of me Image IPB

Points.bioware.com help forum

There is a known problem with special characters in email addresses causing the redirect not to work. There also just seems to be an off and on problem with the redirect not working for some people.

note kephas response above if that doesn`t work you can download mozilla firefox and try it with that browser and it doesn`t hurt to have more than one browser on the same machine iuse firefox so that i don`t have to keep logging in here

I found the number, I think its danish. I called Swedish EA when I had a problem.
Telefonsupporten er atter åbent - du kan ringe på nummeret (+45) 701 423 67 i tidsrummet 13-17 på alle hverdage.

Edit: I think its free, no extra cost was listed

tnx guys, and sorry for hijacking the thread (even though its kinda the same prob)...

just had a "live"-chat with the support, and i got the feared "its a known problem please wait 24-48hrs"... guess i'll have to wait it out, do some voodoo, pray, throw salt, scream at the screen and then hope that it resolves the problem.....

also i might call the number Gebut gave me. ;) .oO(and yeah +45 is the danish country code, so with a bit of luck they may be able to help me)  ..... still can't figure out why it isn't available on Steam, its just SO much simpler. Image IPB

I tried Live Chat last night, and once it had finally counted down for 25 mins the call ended because "no agents are available".   ARGH, WTF!?!  Stupid Bioware, you really DON'T want my money, do you?  <_<
