If you think about it, the faces of most of the romanceable female characters were based on models. Tali of course got the photoshopped image of Hammasa Kohistani, but Jillian Murray was Liara's face model, and of course Miranda was based on Yvonne Strahovski. I'm not sure who the Ashley or Jack were based on, but I've heard they were models as well.

Even Samara, who is an almost romance, is based on the model Rana.

I must say, I dont see much resemblance between Murray and Liara, at least not in the picture you linked.

Liara looks better, though, so it's not a problem for me:wub:

Tali, i know her Stock photo wasn't that great (though the stock photo girl was cute) Tali probably has the best body in the ME series, plus IMO she has the best personality, which adds hot points in my book.

Honestly, I think her face is a bit to child-like.

My fave romance is Tali, but if we're talking about appearance, I think Ashley and Traynor are the hottest romances.

I'd like Miranda more if she actually looked more like a brunette Yvonne Strahowsky. But now she looks a bit off...

Tali is somewhat strange and it is hard for me to date someone who I have never seen.

Jack is a psychopath and I have a habit not to date psychopaths.

Miranda, I just want to slap her into face every time she starts to defend Cerberus. Oh, it was not Cerberus making tests on kids, no way, it was a splinter cell.

I always chose Ashley. Some people say she is anti alien racist. Well as seen in ME3, she was right. And have you people played ME1? There you can easily persuade her to be more open minded and if you take her to the last mission, she agrees with you in saving the council. Not to mention, that she was right in ME2 as well. I still hate ME2 for the stupid story where I am forced to cooperate with mass murderers.

Jack. I love my broken birds broken, yet repairable. I'm sick, I know. The fact that she's also hot isn't a problem either =) On a more serious note, her ME2 romance went along the lines of a real-life one I once had, it was very enjoyable to play through =) (mainly because the RL one did not end as well as the game one does)

Runners-up are Kaidan (that guy is HOT, and I'm glad he's now same-sexable), Tali (yes, I'm one of those guys you gotta blame for asking for her to be romanceable) and Liara. Adorkable FTW!

There's a good essay floating on the Interwebs explaining how this is a 98% accurate portrayal of how a person with PTSD or heavy emotional trauma (especially rape-induced) deals with the damage done to them as a way of asserting control over their own body. And Jack's backstory makes you understand why being raped numerous times she mentions off-hand as if it was nothing more than a mosquito bite. Even if she did kill everyone involved afterwards.

Realizing that and the suffering she's been through, you can't help but want to hug her and tell her that everything's gonna be alright. Garrus incites the same feelings in most rational people, minus the tattoos.

I agree Jack's looks (and we are discussing looks here, not attitude) are over the top and are more attractive in an exotic way, but if you look past her tattos and shaved head - her facial features are genuinely beautiful, and she is shapely without looking like a Plastic Surgery Hospital Poster Girl (cough*new Ash*cough*)
And I do not understand how you can find tentacle-headed girls attractive (but probably it's also because I am not into chicks much older than me). I also generally dislike asari faces, the only ones I liked were Tela Vasir and Aria.

Though duriing my ME3 playthroughs, I have felt a slight attraction to Samantha Traynor.
