Would've been nice if BW would've tried to address all the peashooters.  I'll say that much.  I don't really have a problem with their buffs, but come on.  AR's and SMG's need some major love right now, and we all know it.

Drellguards get 200% PRS with Katana/Evi/Scim/Wraith/Mattock/Incisor/Viper X. Thank you very much. You can also skip the rank capacity bonus for weapon damage and have 180% with a shotgun.

False. Tech bursts can go off regardless if the enemy dies.  This now has big implications on how I play my turian sentinal now.

Some careful small buffs better than no buffs :)

Tech Armor is still a hard call on the Human Sentinel. Such a hard decision on what to give up. I kind of want to know the difference between a 6+6 biotic explosion and a 6+5 or a 5+5....so I would know if 6 Throw 6 Warp is mandatory or not.

If you have to take rank 6 Throw/Warp, then you could go 3 TA, 5 AT and 6 Fitness for maximum survival (1100/1100 EHP). Or you could hit up rank6 TA, which is now a slight DPS increaser at only 30% recharge penalty, and go 5 AT and 3 Fitness for a slight EHP boost as well, though you lose 20% CDs if you like carrying non-pistols.

OK, what is encumbrance capacity? What is encumbrance penalty? What is encumbrance in the first place? Looked in a dictionary and still have no idea what it is in-game.
And it seems like I should use recpec cards ASAP in order to get more of them. :crying:

As someone who is constantly respeccing, I wish the card cap was larger than three... maybe five? I know other players hate them, but I would rather respec than promote sometimes. Or we could allow at will respeccing and drop the card completely.

These changes are awesome however. Can't wait to go home and, um, respec my Turian sentinel with my last remaining respec card!

Thank you for continuing to tweak and refine the MP experience. It's great and one of these days I'll have to give the SP campaign a shot. ;-)

Basically the capacity for weight. That bar that you watch go down when you equip heavy weapons on your characters, and decreases your power recharge rate? That's affected by encumbrance. If you ever played a Fallout game, for example, you'd recognize the phrase "You are over-encumbered".

Really like this patch and am looking forward to more. Patches and tweaks, an easy way to keep a game fresh if it changes the mechanics a bit. Should be interesting to see what can be staggered with tech armour now if it is actually worth purging it.

Should be interesting to see how tech burst is going forward and if all tech teams can do as well as biotic artillery against reapers.

Eric Fagnan, I really hope you have an automated way of doing that post because in a year from now, if you have to copy and paste every post down one, well... that would take the better part of a day lol

It's the correlation between the weight of what you carry/your weight capacity and the effect it has on your skill cooldowns. :D

Someone go home and test tech bursts, especially self tech bursts :o

Biotic explosions should still be better due to the +50% modifiers and Reave, especially on armor and barriers, but nice change. Geth will be easier.

I was reading through this thinking that I must be the only person who ever uses them. We'd probably have a lot fewer "should I use radius or damage? capacity or weapon damage?" etc. threads if people actually tried out different builds/skills using respec cards. Plus promoting to reset just to test/confirm some mechanics/c.bin stuff is just too much of a hassle. And I occasionally respec to better suit the team, if I know I'm going to be playing multiple gold matches with them. 5 would be much better than 3, at least. :(

Otherwise, all good buffs. Maybe now I can stop having to explain that tech armor is not nearly as bad for cooldown as everyone assumed it is. :V

I never use Tech Armor on my Human Sentinel. Warp + Throw combo makes the class and I'd rather have the others than tech armor.

It rapes geth.

I had a level 2 Disruptor and a rank 3 concussive shot. Would take about 4 bars on a pyro. With a saber, I could decrease the pyros shields to 2 bar with 1 shot, CS and the burst.

It being AOE, not needing to be killed for trigger - its pretty mean.

And with cooldown boosts for soldiers, it all fits nicely.


Im wondering if the concussive shot boost in damage, ran in shatter and shredder will make it a decent cryo buster.

i.e. as of an hour ago? (according to the post time of this thread anyway) . Because, I just got a respec card and I had 6 already.

Agreed, but at least the weightr increase lets them spam Adrenaline Rush a bit more often with heavier weapons.
