Ending doesn't need to be changed. Adding on to the ending to fill in the blanks is perfectly acceptable.

if they just changed the ending that would be outright strange.... But that's why they can either go with the perfectly capable indoctrination theory, or do something to where we at least get a choice that doesn't completely bone the universe and can provide more answers than questions.

Never really expected them to change the ending outright, what's there is there, but they can at least change what happens after space child (was it a dream? was it real, but it was misleading? What exactly happens afterwards?) The relays and stuff being destroyed.. If it is so, they need to at least explain what happens to everyone if it happens with hopefully a way to repaid the mass relays.

they NEVER said there would by 16 endings, its a rumor some fan started and people started believeing this rumor because its what they wanted.

I think they are hinting at an alternate ending. That, or it's a clarification. Either way I'm happy.

God this is depressing. The storytelling ending, after the credits roll, asks if I want to hear another story (or something like that)...what story if its just 3 choices and nothing beyond that. I can see people starting to get resigned to the idea that nothing is coming, but not seeing what it could and should have been, with the history this game had is just depressing.

As long as what they add completely avoids anything to do with what's already there then I'm fine with that, even though it's upsetting because none of it makes any sense whatsoever.

Actually, it was what IGN reported, which was in turn from PRIMA.

At any rate, BioWare still claimed the endings would be "wildly divergent," "take all major choices into account," and not be "an A, B, C" ending, amongst other things.

I can see why people would be quite angry.

The ending was never meant to be changed.It was designed to be continued upon with the real ending(s) via DLC at an extra cost.Would this be your product would you not milk it for all it was worth?

Then that's not "continuing" an ending, that's releasing one. Which is worse, in some regards.

Honestly, I don't really care what they do either way, but if they do anything at all, it would be unwise to half-arse it. Otherwise, I predict even greater sh*tstorms in the near future.

I already made up my mind that nothing will change. Whatever DLC they release for explain the nosense of the ending is going to suck so better not going to bother with ME3.

Actually, it was what IGN reported.

IGN has always been a source of false information, just look at its history, I remember when it said the second Sims 2 expansion would be "The Sims 2 Unleashed"
