Those going to PAX, call them out on it!. So far they haven't even had the good grace to aknowledge that promises were broken.

Whoho, if this is true they have officially signed the contract to turn their back on all fans and accept the fact that they won't sell any future product to them. It's sad, really.
Yup, they will have essentially chosen their own ego over their once loyal fanbase. So sad, what's even worse is if they are really deluded enough that they believe that the ending is anything but a rushed, disjointed, nonsensical pile of failed psuedo-religious psychobabble that is in no way representative of or on par with anything else in the series.

The ending is a pre picked option, pick red destroy the galaxy, pick Blue destroy the galaxy, pick Green destroy the galaxy. That is lazy writing, and not in context with the game, Mass Effect was supposed to be about how "your" shepherd decided to do things, "my" Shepherd would have told the Star Child to go F*** himself.
You're way off.
The galaxy is only destroyed if you're under 1600 EMS and choose destroy.
Otherwise the wave of energy either tanks all technology or does no harm to anything but the Reapers, Citadel, and Mass Relays.
Don't compare the destruction of the relays in the end of ME3 to the Alpha Relay in Arrival. Different circumstances lead to different reactions. In that case it was a use of force that caused the mass effect core to explode, in this case, the relay pours all it's energy into distributing the Crucible's energy before exploding, leaving the galaxy unharmed(unless you have -1600 EMS and choose destroy, in which case the Crucible's energy destroys everything it touches.)

I have to agree with this. You can tell they left certain things out of the game so they can use it as DLC but I just hope they don't do the same thing they have done in the past.
Mass Effect 1 we got 1 DLC story mission (BDTS) and a shooting mini game that was insane on insanity.
Mass Effect 2 we got 3 DLC's that meant nothing to the story (Zaheed,Kasumi,Normandy Crash) 2 shooting mini game (Hammerhead/Arrival) and 1 1/2 story missions (archer and Lair)
Hopefully with this they can add MORE story based missions and less shooting mini games...would love to see Irune as a story based mission since it said they were getting over run by husks and its the voluses home world filled with 8.8 billion voluses. Would be nice to help them in a dlc at least stem the tide.

Don't you guys dare cause problems at PAX. It's a video game convention, not a place to harass developers with your petty crap.
If you try, I hope security throws you out on your asses!

Personally I look forward to the teal ending. That and maroon.

By 'more content' I hope they mean more choices in the end game, some of which are a lot more satisfying. If not, I'm not interested in any DLC content. With the existing endings a story expansion in say, Omega, would be entirely pointless.
Personally, I'm willing to take the chance with clarification. But at the same time, I want to see a dlc, preferably for sale than free, dedicated to that clarification, not simply epilogue slides.
I hope by "adding more content" this isn't Bioware're way of releasing an Omega dlc that will casually involve some wacked attempt to foreshadow the Catalyst. If they're going to address the criticisms, they should address the criticisms.

Oh yes, how dare anyone question why we didn't get what we were promised pre-release and what we paid for?
Security?... *pfft*; - Yes lets see how The Land of the Free™ treats legitimate complaints from paying customers.

There are folk who like the ending, Goddess help 'em. Doesn't stop it from being really bad writing in action, but they're entitled to like it. If the ending gets changed, they lose out.
Best thing would be to ADD new OPTIONAL DLC ending options (ideally writing the Star-child out of the game entirely) - those who like the ending don't have to download them, while those of us who want a well-written, logical bit of storytelling to end the trilogy get one. Everybody wins!

Pretty much this. They're testing the fishing pool seeing what they can and can't get away with.
I'll say it again, I hope this ending literally gets rehauled and truly gets fixed instead of them adding more salt to the wound.

Very simple logicstics overide this though. Ships take a long time to travel in the Mass Effect world without the Relays. By the time it takes the Krogan, Asari, Turian, and ect races to make it back home they'll have all starved to death or died from old age. Most of them can't even eat what's on Earth, so it's not like they could stay there. Not to mention the colonies that die off without trade and help from their homeworlds.

When you're done making baseless assumptions and ridiculous out of place comments take look at this details precisely why there is an issue. Look past the title and give it a read. Well written and sums the problems up quite nicely.

This right here;
The ending should NOT be changed it should be ELABORATED on. Changing it would be rediculous, the Starchild thing HAS to be given some form of purpose. Indoctrination Theories build upon this. Expanding on the ending makes a lot more sense. We've all had our say and Bioware have listened so let's see what they produce.

No offensive, but no thanks. The green and blue endings don't make sense no matter how much explaining they do.
