I see the evidence for indoctrination, I really do, and it's totally feasible within the narrative but...I don't think this is it.  A re-write is pretty much out of the question.

Only option is Indoc theory or explaining the endings.

Oh, good, because that's what all the retake mass effect protesting was about.

Not every fan is a part of your little tea party. In fact, most aren't. BioWare are right to focus on them, but it is nice of them to throw you a bone, in the form of some added clarification.

Extrapolation can be hard, so it'll be good to have BW to hold your hands while you contemplate the finale as ancient man contemplated fire, i'm sure.

Listen, I hate the endings but are there really people around who still think they are going to rewrite them? They are going to release some additional material that clarifies and provides additional closure, not change the endings. To my mind, they have been clear on that. If folks are still expecting a rewrite they might as well just riot now cause it aint happening.

The link is here:

It's nothing new, and it's in response to a jerk who generalizes everyone who dislikes the ending as "whiny and ignorant"

Not really. Most adherants evidently didn't understand the finer points of the Shepard/Anderson/TIM standoff. A lot of the facts have been misapropriated as evidence of your little theory.

A rewrite was never going to happen anyway.

A further explanation or expansion on what is already there was the only thing that was ever going to get done.

Sounds like an alternate ending. Good on BioWare. I want my ending to stay the same but the concept of exploring a different version of the story is intriguing.

What mr. anti tea party doesn't know is, I"ve defended the end, the end lovers, but I also would like the disgruntled fans to be appeased to.

Seriously, linking to source isn't that f- hard.

“@kanjilikesboys We're so glad you liked it. Don't worry, your ending won't be changed. We're just releasing more content.”

Emphasis (wishfully) mine.

James Bond had some interesting thoughts on tea. He considered a flat, dull opiate to the masses. Life in middle England makes me think he was on to something.

I think it's the "clarifies and closure" part that strikes me, not the lack of a change. I don't want a change because it ****s up people who like the ending as is (nutters) but I also would like more additional content than...clarification and closure.

What the hell is that? Sounds like some kind of report at the end of the game:

"Shepard fell into a green beam of light. He was happy."

"Liara tried to get to Thessia again but noone could leave the Sol system. She lived until 149 where she died of starvation due to food reserves in the Sol system becoming depleted."

"Garrus died in the charge to the beam with you. Lord rest his soul."

"James died in the charge to the beam with you. Lord rest his soul."

"Javik killed himself. After all, he said once the war was over his purpose would be fulfilled."

"Ashley/Kaiden took to trying to begin farming life for awhile but became over-wraught with the PTSD of losing Shepard and the world falling apart around them - they killed themselves in 2167."

That's clarification and...sort of provides closure. Is it worth it though? Er, no. I mean seriously. I want something a bit more than "clarification and closure"

As long as adding more content includes: explaining how my LI and Best bud survived the Harbinger Laser of death to the face without a scratch, and then chose to abandon me, why Joker turned coward and abandoned the WAR FOR EVERYTHING, how the galaxy survives when I blew up the relays, IF (and that's a big one) they survived how does everyone get home, what was star-jar going on about, how did Shep survive not only the vacuum of space but also reentry, explain why Sovereign was trollng us or why the Catalyst didnt help him in ME,and where are my blue babies!!!

If the extra content can do all of this I will be pleased/impressed. Otherwise keep it.

Rather obvious there is far more to the game than we have seen so far.
