For all their talk of trying to get new players into the game, for all their planning to appeal to the most people as possible for this franchise and all the effort that has gone into doing just that...in the end, their goal is seemingly to appease to the smallest minority of people who have played ME3 that exists - The people that liked the ending.
Well I guess sucking on Biowares Ego-**** is considerably more effective than "Facts" or "Logic", Hell it's apparently even more effective than "Mass appeal" and "Millions of dollars; All you need to is agree with them about everything and you are their most valued customer.
All 5 of them.

I was discussing this with my flatmate and pointed out that there are plenty of places along the course of the take back Earth sequence where a dialogue choice could be added that just pushes the story in a new direction without negating what is already there but still provides better closure.
I'd suggest waiting for Bioware's official announcement before getting up in arms. They have an obligation to try and find a middle ground - not just change the endings and not just keep the existing ones but find a way to please the most people - which would involve finding some kind of midpoint. The easiest way to do this is to expand on what is already there rather than start fresh. It means we'll still have a bit of a clunky end, but they could still turn things around.
I'm willing to give them the chance to do what they can and then I will make a choice about what I, as a consumer, intend to do from that point. But I'm waiting until I get something official - not speculative. These tweets contain very little in the way of solid confirmation.

They're trolling. DON'T READ TOO MUCH INTO IT.
Hold the line, at the VERY LEAST for 3 more days...
They've said equally "firm" statements on Twitter about changing the ending, so everything should be taken with a Mack-truck full of salt.
How quickly everyone forget this was said as well, and it was equally troll-ful, until Christ Priestly trolled on it some more:@masseffect @PatrickWeekes did you feel pressured to change the ending, Isn't it important to stick to your guns on some things?
@satootaku We never said we were changing itWe have ALWAYS had big plans for ME3. It isn't a response-It's been in the works
Again...do not read too much into it.
The mere insanity of it is intriguing. I still refuse to believe they released a game without an ending though. That would be a tad on the touch of insanity.
I don`t know, there are games which run in an episodic-format. I could live with this, an adon or dlc that actualy continues the story (the only thing i won`t buy is stuff inbetween things..cause i just don`t care).
I`m not a "follower" of the IT but i would roll with it if they went this way and continued from there on.
But if they release side-missions or story-mission to explain the actual thing i`m just not interested anymore.
The guy that asked the question, if not a bought bot, is just kinda amazing..what stupid analogy is that? "Stick to ur guns"...i expect people to evolve if they made mistakes not to "play-western", that goes for any kind of media aswell.
Art was changed couple of hundred years ago and it was fine then..but today you must "stick to ur guns"?
I just can`t get behind that mentality and i`m kinda proud of it.
Is it leed now to be a de-evolving brickwall that can`t move left or right, can`t adept or learn?

I just want to say that that Tweet has been deleted by the Mass Effect account. Looks like someone misspoke.
You know, I have really to admire their tenacity. The number of times they've said something only to delete it later, any rational person would, I don't know, stop saying stuff they didn't mean to.
