Why do I not see my commendation and victory pack?
Currently they are suspended due to an explot that was found with them

Does that mean I wont receive them?
It is our intention to give them out when the exploit is fixed

When is the fix?
We currently have a fix, that is now going through testing, which will be done next week as BioWare employees are off for Easter. So we expect it to have it out to everyone next week.

I see that the operation raptor pack has an expiry, what happens if the fix comes after that expiry?
The expiry will be extended

I already got my Victory Pack, but not my commendation, does that mean I am not getting my commendation?
Commendation and Victory packs are given out by 2 different methods, as victory goes to everyone whereas the commendatoin only goes to those who completed the challenge. It takes a long time to sift through the data to see who is eligable.

I do not see the commendation in my comendation does that mean I am not getting it?
No this does not mean you will not receive it, please be patient until the pack actually goes live before assuming you are not getting it.

How does this tie in with Resurgance?
Operation Raptor has nothing to do with Resurgance

For those who did not see the update that was posted in the first thread, or the thread posted by Scylla Costa. We are not granting packs at the moment, we are hard at work resolving the issue which caused us to have to take down these packs.

I will continue to update this thread as information becomes available. We want to be certain that we can give out the packs without any further issues, so I ask for your continued patience.

EA Live support will give you the message that the granting of packs has been suspended, the same message that Scylla and myself have given you.

We are looking into the issue and are attempting to fix it.

I can not confirm when exactly no, I will say that this weekend is easter weekend.

An update has been posted we will be regranting next week. Please understand that we do have a fix, but as Scylla states it will require a good amount of testing. This is a long weekend and we are anxious to spend it with our families.

We are weighing options for those who purposefully exploited vs those who came to it by accident.

There was something slightly different that caused this vs the last time. It had nothing to do with the objective.

@Polarpwnage, it is on the same page that you posted and on the first page, they are coming next week.

Victory packs are given to all PC and Xbox users, so you dont need to be granted it. So yes this is indeed normal.

i am an xbox user and i didnt get my victory pack yet

Not a problem, I will continue to try an answer questions over the weekend. There will likely be no updates until tuesday because of the long weekend. I know its hard to have to wait, but we do want to spend time with our families

The commendation pack when we put it up will not have the same expiry as it currently has, more than likely it will be around 5-7 days before it expires.

I have stated that I do not have the ability to look up indivduals status on whether they will receive or not. The advice I can offer is once the packs are being regranted again see what happens, if for some reason you dont see it we will support as best we can.

Also yes you may have received a victory pack before we pulled them down, but not seen a commendation pack. These 2 are given to players in 2 completely different ways, and commendation packs take a lot longer to give.

Alot of people don't read the thread before posting. So maybe a sticky that no one can post in with a Q+A would help. Although most will probably ignore that too.

Most of this information can be found in Scylla's post which is stickied and locked

I am merely asking because if there is something fundamental I am missing with how to communicate better, then I am very inclined to do it

A simple tip, is if you click on the BioWare image under a thread it will show response from any BioWare employee that has posted in that thread.

Hey Bryan, there's a very simple way to spread knowledge into community:
make a notification when we log into multiplayer (like the one which pops up when event starts), in which simply list OP FAQ info.
You see, 90% of people are stupid (yes, that includes me), and they will rather post WFTANGERMANAGEMENTNOTWORKINGFORMEARRRGGGHHHH!!!!11 topics than read this announcement.

Something like you see in the game has quite a few process it needs to go through in order to be posted to the game. First the message has to be conceived, second it has to be translated to all the languages, then it needs to be verified it works, then it needs to be sent out to the public. 

Unfortunately all those steps combined mean it takes no minutes like a forum post but more in the realm of days.
