Has Bioware thought of tweeting or Facebook posting this news? I'm sure there's people (like some of my friends) who don't go on these forums and use bioware'a social networking posts to find out about the weekend events.

 I just found this forum after calling EA Support.  I never got the commendation pack from goliath or raptor even though they are showing up on my account.  I got errors when trying to spend the 1600 bioware points I spent real money on and I looked at my account and could find no new weapons or characters. I really wish there was a way to see a history of what buying packs in game gave you so I would know for sure, but right now it feels like I spent $20 and got absolutely nothing.  The support team is telling me there is nothing they can do, I am just out of luck.  Hard to believe a company would state that, but they even put it in writing in the case notes.  Unreal.  

I bought the collector's edition, I spent extra on top of that to get some weapons, and all I have gotten is about 4+ hours lost trying to track down my money mostly with chat representatives that dont even understand plain English.  Very frustrating. 

One other thing, it sucks big time to buy a spectre pack and get a gold card for a class that is already maxed.  Wished there was a way to carry over that exp when you promote, but I like to keep a couple of 20s to do some gold missions.

I will attempt to repeat this yet again. Victory and Commendation packs were both pulled, due to an exploit. We have found a fix for this, it is a long weekend no one is testing the fix this weekend. Expiry will be extended out once packs are given. ETA for packs to be given out is next week.

I'd like to point out, that this link does say that both victory and commendation packs were pulled, however from that same link and most of your posts, you are only stating the commendations packs will be granted next week. Maybe it might be beneficial to update that post to state that both will be re-granted?

EDIT: Also maybe add to the FAQ , "If you have not received both the Victory or Commendation pack, or if you have not receieved just the Victory pack, please be patient, these also will be re-granted when the fix is finished, which should be sometime next week."

Under the "Your Profile" tab on the Bioware Social menu, go to "Your Registered Game Content". It will show up there.

Thanks for the info Bryan. I suppose we can only wait now and have the hope to receive the two packs (victory and commendation) when this bug is fixed the next week.

still waiting on victory- got commendation... *sigh* this ****'s complicated people... even beta testing doesn't catch all the glitches. with that said- those that *actually* manipulated the system should get their **** stripped. but... whatever. maybe instead of being pissed- we can all just be human to each other...

Beachhead is still happening, it is a 25% bonus XP weekend so you can get the characters you promoted backed into shape

Its the area where we see our DLC, correct?
I don't see anything there about it, just my DLC that I know about (Actual Items, From Ashes, Online Pass, and  Multiplayer Demo Early Access (From BF3 Multiplayer)).  Is the Victory pack/Commendation pack supposed to show up there? I received the Victory Pack (and its kinda useless consumables ),  but no Commendation pack.  Neither show up in my "Your Registered Game Content".

I don't know what's happening, but I get the feeling that contacting with the CSup is coming and I'm not going to like it.

@skullmount4 That is correct, all your DLC will be there and it will show up as "Operation Goliath Commendation (Valid until Tuesday, March 27 at 5pm PST)" Keep in mind however it not being there does not mean you did not get credit for Operation: Raptor. They stopped posting them after they pulled the packs.

@Cathey There will be a new deadline to claim the packs once they are awarded next week. Probably 5-7 days from the day they are activated.

@Nancomerian Personally I believe that identifying a problem that unbalanced the game in favor of some players over others, then creating a fix, and testing it so it does not further damage the game before implementing it. Is very professional. I would rather wait a week for a commendation/victory pack then have some players with all the N7 weapons with multiple ranks.

@jpraelster93 Yes, the victory packs will be awarded at the same time the commendation packs are awarded.

In order to stop the problem we had to suspend the granting of packs immediately. We are currently working on a fix for this issue. We will restart the granting of packs once this issue has been fixed.

Wanted to give an update about the fix for the exploit. We have a fix for the issue but it needs lots of testing. We will grant the Commendation Pack for Operation Raptor next week after the fix goes live.

If it takes a day to stop an exploit and assumably a week to correct for it, how many months do you figure will it be before PS3 users get the same fully featured title and are able to participate in these ongoing operations? How long until they are shown some love?

I got the Commendation pack, and only one. Will I lose the weapon I unlocked or will I keep it?

Since I "unlocked" it once, I suppose the unlock of the N7 related weapon is fully legitimate.

Please let me know something. I really like the weapon I found and I believe honest players shouldn't be "penalized" by the "exploites" used by someone else.

I'm concerned about this, too.  Can you point out the post where Bioware confirmed a different expiration date?
