DAO appears to save some extra information (i.e. the data you enter from the screenshot menu), but it doesn't seem to do as part of the exinfo standard, and thus programs tend to read it as incorrect data.
Loading it up into a regular image viewer and resaving the image should fix the corrupt data error, allowing you to upload it.
I'll have to hunt down who wrote the function and get them to fix it. 
The way i've been working around it is to open the screenshot in Paint, then Save As... - New File with whatever name I want, saved as JPG or JPEG. Then the new file can be uploaded no problem.
It would rock to stop needing to do this, though opening a screenshot in Paint will still be useful to save a cropped part of the screenshot as a new file, for example, cropping a face off to make the face the pic.
