Quarians or Geth. At the time, I didn't know it was possible to save both. I literally sat there for ten minutes, spinning the conversation pointer.

I didnt know we *wouldnt* get a chance. I just assumed shepard would say something to stop the quarians..lucky for me I was right.

MY toughest decision has always been kaiden vs ashley. Im happy I chose ash all things considered.

May sound weird, but I found the Rewrite/Destroy the Heretics decision to be the one I spent the most time on. With Mass Effect 3 so close, I wasn't sure whether to trust them or not. But I trusted Legion, so I rewrote them.

For me it was the Rachni. I put the controller down and walked around the house for about 10 minutes. I figured it would have huge consequences in the conclusion to the trilogy. Heh.

Problem?

Anyway, for me, it was definately deciding between the quarians and geth. Both sides were so sympathetic and the Quarians, while slightly more... unreasonable... had a lot of great or at the very least interesting characters.

I LOVE how things turn out if you decide to betray wrex though. That was done fantastically.

In context, the Collector base decision, followed by the Heretic Geth decision.

Same here. Tali was my LI so I couldn't betray her, but Legion and the geth deserved a chance at life. I was panicking at that point.

Definitely the Rachni in ME1.  Genophage decisions in ME3 were a close second.

Easiest decision: Touching that.  Repeatedly.

No decision in ME1, I saved Wrex, and really didn't care for Ashley and her religious beliefs.
No, my hardest choice was in ME3 choosing the Krogan rather than the Salarians. Especially after said result ended in Mordin's death.

The Collector Base and whether or not to keep it, actually.  That took me forever to think through.

Next up is the Heretic issue with the Geth in ME2.

Toughest decision. Trying to decide whether or not to play ME3 again.

Salarians or Krogan was a tough one, the first time. But I figured with Wrex and Eve working with eachother, they could keep the Krogan in check.

I thought this too, but then I realized it wouldn't matter if the Reapers destroy everything, and you would also gain Turian support if you chose the Krogan. So it was Turian+Krogan or just the Salarians, which join you later regardless. lol

The toughest decision was whether or not to uninstall the trilogy of games after seeing the ending for the first time.

What did you decide?

I chose "no".

ME1: Didn't have a hard decision for me. VS is always Ash because Kaiden bugs me, Rachni queen survives because who am I to enforce genocidal policies of another race...besides might be good for a favor.

ME2: Keep the collector base or blow it up.....took 5 minutes to decide if I trusted Cerberus.

ME3: Geth/Quarians. Had to decide if I wanted to keep Tali or Legion. After 2 hours of thinking and 8 hours of sleep (Xbox is on the entire time) I finally closed my eyes, spin the control stick and hit A. Turned out I told Legion to upload and got 2 fleet for the price of one.

Oof, we'd better hope Wrex doesn't die in the attack on earth...

The toughest for me was definitely Virmire to this day I still have to think about who I should leave with the bomb I wish I could have saved them both.

Honorable mention(s): The Rachni Queen, Saving/Destroying Maelon's data

For me it would probably be the choice to save the city or space port from the 2 missiles that you could only override one of sidequest in ME2. Too bad it doesn't matter a flip in ME3.

actually i spent a lot of time on returning nirali bhatia's body to samesh. i finally did, and shep's 'not if we lose our humanity in the process' made me feel good about it.

This didn't have much impact overall, but the renegade decision for the Overlord DLC in ME2 was by far the one that comes to mind. It actually felt like a renegade decision--it hurt on a moral level unaffected by the usual 'it's just a game' mentality.

Council. Because it was so obvious for me to kill them in my first play trough ME1 because it would create a bigger chance of defeating Sovereign. Then when I found out there wasn't a difference I kept wondering every playthrough if I should go with my first instinct or the knowledge I had now.

Not really a decision per say but it was hard for me to talk to Tali on earth. I wanted more time too.

to much love for the Collector base. I thought that easy no way I was giving TIM more technology. Now I always had a tough choice with who my LI would be...landed on Tali most of time. lol but I can't believe the final decision isn't on at least one dumb persons list.
