I would so love if BioWare trolled us big time.

So here we all are, ready and watching. Then Mike Gamble comes out and basically says:

"Thank you for your money, goodbye. BioWare will focus on FPSs from now on and ME3 is over... SPECULATION ENDS NOW!"

Then all of a sudden, the lights switch of. And we hear Shepard saying "NO! This is NOT how it ends!"

The lights come up and we see this awesome trailer of the new ending DLC with the 'Black Blade' music playing... and then with the logo saying "Take Earth Back!"

And it's for free!

But one can dream.... *sigh* :innocent:

I want it to end with the team giving everyone at the announcement cupcakes of sixteen wildly different varieties.

They take the valve route and release hats for your squad mates. The Hat DLC costs £50.

"We messed up, we're changing the end so that it makes sense and doesn't destroy the ME universe."

What I want them to say: "Hey guys sorry it took so long. We made lots of new endings and it's all for free if you already own the game!"
What I expect them to say: "Hey guys we made some clarification now please fork over 15$"

The BioWare panel at PAX come out to discuss the Mass Effect franchise and sit down to address the people gathered there. All of a sudden, sausages drop from the ceiling and start to dance in time to the music from the Purgatory nightclub. One of the sausages has N7 armour on, the other sausages mock this sausage for not being able to dance.

Mike Gamble shouts at the sausages and threatens them with cocktail sticks, stunned, the sausages stop dancing and sit down next to the BioWare panel.

Well then I woke up, because it was a dream.

1) Anything that includes more and more varied endings for Mass Effect 3. No "clarification" is not enough. Submission is not preferable to extinction. I

2) Formal apology (actually using the words "sorry" and "apologize") would be a bonus

Dream pax announcement?

Nothing flashy, just a bunch of people in fold out chairs behind a long table. "After looking back on the endings, we decided they were not up to the standard BioWare games should end on, so we will be working on endings that better tie in with the rest of the series. We thank the fans for all their feedback. Those who like the current endings, know that they are not being entirely removed, you can keep them if you wish. Expect more information in the near future. Now, onto the great Animes/DA3/Multiplayer/Whatever!"

Eh, I have no expectations, but that would be interesting.

#1: Indoctrination Theory true, free.
#2: We're so sorry, we didn't want it to be like this, it was because of X, Y, Z. We'll be fixing it, to show our dedication to our fanbase. For free.

Free awakening style expansion proving indoctrination theory correct + LI DLC + Omega DLC + Announcement for new game where you play as a squadmate between games + Announcement for continuation of the ME storyline somehow

Oh ya!
Incorporate the indoc theory and 30 addition hours additional hours would be well worth the pain these endings caused me!

This would make them gods in my eyes.

Thanks to a deal with Microsoft mass effect 1 will now be re-released for all consoles. PS3 users will now be able to experience their shepards story from the beginning, as well as see new bonus content added to the game for free, an upgrade to the graphics engine, a new and more fluid combat system, and the improved vehicle exploration using the new armored hammerhead, all the durability of the mako and none of the falling over and plummeting off a mountain.

This won't happen of course, but I can still dream.

The 'take back earth' cinematic trailer music is called 'Black Blade' from 'Two steps from hell.'

If they do that, they are dead to me.
I'll watch the 'clarifications' on youtube and will more than likely never buy another bioware/ea product.

that would be amazing. the lights go out and all the doors lock, a giant screen rolls down from the ceiling and the most amazing earth + crucible scene unveils with 30 completely different, distinct, endings and tons of "suicide mission" decisions for you war assets(cut scenes included)

I was with you up until the lights went out.

That would just be the most epic presentation ever. "YOU ALL SUCK. G'BYE." And Mike exits stage left.

BioWare probably wouldn't retain me as a customer, but it would still be awesome.

Despite the fact that I'm not entirely convinced by IT, I think my dream announcement would be that BioWare announces that IT is true and that they basically trolled the fan base. Anything else, be it releasing different endings or just clarifications, won't be nearly as epic. I might be mad that they trolled us, but it would also be a pretty historic turn of events.
