◦ Expansive mission objectives that show you the armies you've gathered (including your ME2 squadmates) fighting at your side.
◦ Command your armies and choose the best tactics to lead hammer and reach the conduit, choose how to use your war assets wisely and who leads them.
◦ Epic showdown with Harbinger which outcome will depend on your EMS.
◦ Epic final race through the Citadel to reach an activation console that isn't conveniently one corridor ahead of Shepard.
◦ More information about the Catalyst/Reapers and clarification about the crucible, two completely new endings (in addition to the existing ones) which depend on your paragon/Renege points, your choices through the series and your EMS.
◦All for 15$.

But well, it's just fantasy.

Option 2) A "director's cut" significantly changing the ME3 storyline to be focused on dark energy, as originally intended. No star child. This I would pay for.

"We messed up. We took a calculated risk with our IP in the hopes of creating an interesting galaxy following Shepard's final actions. But we got so caught up in our vision of the ending that we didn't realize how little sense it would make to so many of our players. While some of us really like the ending, we also recognize that many of you don't for a lot of really good reasons."

I want them to lower their guard. More than the announcement of some DLC, I want a straight message. I want something like:

YES. More so than a new ending, I want this. Also, just a simple, verbal answer to "If we don't see someone on Gilligan's island, does that mean they are dead or alive?"

My dream announcement would be an expansion pack, probably. It would be released in addition to the DLC that they already have planned. The expansion pack would add hours of content to the end of the game, filling in all the plot holes and turning the Take Back Earth mission into something similar to the Suicide Mission in ME2, just on a much larger scale. Maybe we would get to actually control our war assets, instead of playing as Shepard. ME2 squadmates, a rachni, Kirrahe and his squad, etc.
Yeah, lol. A man can dream, right?
I would love that. I believe it also would be good business to do so.

We've reached the end, when Patrick Weekes stops everyone and says "So what do you guys know about Indoctrination...?"
The crowd goes wild.

OK, wrong announcement.
Here's my 100% ideal announcement. Hope springs eternal.
1) Indoc Theory is > 95% correct. Maybe they differ in the fine points, but the basics of the theory are accurate.
2) The ending is already done, and it's considered free... part of the game we already paid for. They just wanted to keep it in reserve so as many gamers as possible could experience it at the same time without spoilers. Indeed, we all "Take Earth Back" together.
3) That there are outcomes to the Green and Blue endings, even if they're not necessarily happy endings (optional). Maybe there's ways your LI could snap you out of it or something; or maybe your teammate have to put you down and continue the mission themselves.
4) There is a full playable final battle for Earth that will be like the suicide mission from ME2, but on a planetary level, encompassing army/fleet-level outcomes as well as moments of individual heroism from your squadmates. All that Readiness Score will translate to actual actions by those resources you rallied.
5) Shepard and his squad will have one more big run... doesn't even have to be a boss battle, but... something.
6) Bring back Harbinger!
7) That the actual endings represent real choice. Full victory, sacrifice, defeat, Renegade/cowardice... all should be on the table if YOU choose it.
