My dream is to hear a shred of unveiled honesty. No more PR BS that strings words together for hours without saying anything. I want to hear: "We know we screwed up, here's why, and here's what we're going to do to fix it". A direct and clear apology would be rather welcome at this point also.

Turns out the whole ending fiasco was one of the most ambitious marketing stunts in the gaming industry and major media sites were "tipped" ahead of time to let this thing blow over. The Indoctrination Theory is true, and they reveal that there will be ending DLC that span various outcomes based on our choices throughout the trilogy, all for the low price of free.
But that is not going to happen. Except with Space Magic. :wizard:

Casey Hudson making a surprise appearance and says he will not apologize for lying about the ending (theirs a big booooooo) and then he smiles and says "Because that was not the real ending and by the way Red is my favorite color" and walks away DLC released after the event i finish my Canon Shepard's main play through and i begin my second because of my renewed faith in mass effect and bioware. i can still dream for a couple days lol

Indoctrination theory is correct, and the "real" ending is released that day for free on all 3 platforms.

Honestly I'd like them to say Indoc theory is true and they're sending out Hard copy discs to anyone and everyone who has purchased the game on any system, and making the expansion available as DLC, (for free) of the continuation of the story.

The Expansion pack is an extra 4 hours of gameplay plus over 2 hours of fully detailed ending cutscenes (each individual, undeniably distinctive ending getting 10-20 minutes of lovingly rendered, masterfully written CGI with closure - Plot hole free)

The gameplay involves A final confrontation with Harbinger - Both intellectual (talking) and puzzle-esque fighting (not just "Shoot the weak spot"). As well as an "Aftermath" section where we can say goodbye to our friends (if we survive) and grab that drink with Garrus.

At some point I will find a sea shell, and send it off for tests.

The Reapers never reveal their motivation - "Your understanding is irrelevant. Your minds grasp only your annihilation, blinded by that limitation. You are but specks of dust, caught in the wind of our ascension. Our Will is your Destiny, Our whim your destination. I am Harbinger, the vanguard of your destruction". Or something like that. More Sovreignesque evil poetry that hints AT a greater purpose but never gives you enough to comprehend it. like it should be

The Star Gazing scene is simply removed, Buzz Aldrin gets to voice another scene that isn't a giant turd in the face of ME fans.

Bioware admits they handled it wrong and explains why they had to/chose to do what they did - As it turns out, these explanations are reasonable and humble. Not acceptable nor ideal, but reasonable. They assure us that they will do more to ensure that it won't happen again in the future and they do it in a personal, "Human" way - In other words they explain it informally and frankly, not wrapping it up in PR spin and marketing bull****.

I know a lot of people are hoping for the indoctrination theory to be true, but I really hope Bioware doesn't do it.  My Dream Anouncement from PAX:  They scratch the God-Child (completely take him out of the game), and tell us they making new endings that reflect what was promised to us:  The "END OF AN EMOTIONAL STORY UNLIKE ANY OTHER, WHERE THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE COMPLETELY SHAPE YOUR EXPERIENCE AND OUTCOME."  Key word being DECISION I made.  I did everything right in the game, I made all the good choices.  I deserve a GOOD ending...

I would so love if BioWare trolled us big time.

So here we all are, ready and watching. Then Mike Gamble comes out and basically says:

"Thank you for your money, goodbye. BioWare will focus on FPSs from now on and ME3 is over... SPECULATION ENDS NOW!"

Then all of a sudden, the lights switch of. And we hear Shepard saying "NO! This is NOT how it ends!"

The lights come up and we see this awesome trailer of the new ending DLC with the 'Black Blade' music playing... and then with the logo saying "Take Earth Back!"

And it's for free!

But one can dream.... *sigh* :innocent:

How about they announce that ME3 is over, then the REAL Shepard appears on stage and says that, instead of just his voice?

Sixteen endings that reflect all the choices you made throughout the entire trilogy. They range from happily ever after for everyone to Shepard making a heroic sacrifice to a victory so costly we'll debate endlessly if it's even a victory at all. And every one of them makes sense.

Oh and its free.

I dream of them coming up on stage, saying "before we get started, we have something to show you." And on the screen behind them, up pops a slide with five words in big block letters...

YOU HAVE ALL BEEN INDOCTRINATED.

crowd goes wild, all is forgiven

I have two dreams for PAX.

Dream one:

Bioware comes out, admits the endings weren't up to par, promises to release free DLC that will bring the series to a proper ending rather than just soiling itself and dying in a ditch.

Dream two:
Mike Gamble steps on stage looking nervous as all hell. He basically looks like someone getting lead out in front of a firing squad. He slowly approaches the mic, speaking too quietly to even hear. Murmurs in the crowd grow louder and louder as Gamble continues to mumble into the mic. The fans begin to stand up their voices growing to a cacophonous roar drowning out Gambles feeble attempts at speaking into the mic. Nervously he looks to his fellow employees, Weeks has already fled the notes he had in front of him listlessly floating to the ground in the wake of his mad dash to escape. Mike turns back to the fans, swallowing once as he speaks loud enough to be heard for the first time "L...lots of speculation for everyone." is all he can manage to stammer out.The sea of enraged fans rise up like an angry wave sent by god to crash down upon the stage with an unbridled fury the likes this world has never seen. Mike's cries, as the hordes take to the stage like the allied forces at Normandy, can barely be heard over the deafening noise "No A B or C endings, 16 different endings!" he shouts before being swallowed up like Andrea Gail.

And as the crowd disperses there is no trace of Mike Gamble left. Only a cupcake. With a note in frosting. "Bring us Hudson"

I have odd dreams.

Adding new endings while expanding on the three we got, fixing up some of the things they didn't get time to polish, and that EA has learned it's lesson and is being more hands-off about their games, giving them reasonable freedom and the time to make them great.

I would like to see Space-Ghost-Kid replaced by Sandal, and Space Magic replaced by Enchantment!

Also I think someone should ask the Panel at Pax if they all shower with their cloths on.

EA pleads for forgiveness from all of Bioware's many fans. The director in charge of holding Bioware's financial leash commits seppuku on the convention-room floor. As a gesture of atonement they disband the company and form a monastery bound by vows of poverty and silence. They liquidate their companies financial properties and use the proceeds to buy segways everyone that sends them a valid Mass Effect 3 proof of purchase.

"Just to make things perfectly clear, Shepard is not and never was indoctrinated, the endings are real." Sure, I'd still have the crappy ending, but it would be entertaining watching more people lose face than if someone had opened the Ark of the Covenant in a packed Football stadium.

"Indoc theory's been right all along, and new endings will be released next week along with better dialogue for both Shepard and squadmates, but no auto-dialogue, and better LI scenes. Also, we're going to include a revisit to Ilos, going to Thessia before it falls so it will mean more to you, a way to increase Galactic Readiness in single player, and we're going to change Kai Leng so he's not a wimpy space ninja. Also, it's all going to be free. Sorry for trolling you guys, and don't worry, we know that this type of publicity stunt only works once, so we solemnly swear to never do this again."

Also, this:

Won't happen, of course. But that'd be the perfect announcement.

They announce that the endings we got were not the genuine endings but were pushed to release ME3 by March 6. Since they finished the current version they've been working on the proper ending which is now ready for release, free of charge.

On a related note, Bioware and EA will be parting ways, and Bioware will be permitted to maintain full control of IPs developed while they were working with EA (this announcement will make it seem like, if one reads between the lines, EA did something they weren't supposed to and are letting Bioware go to keep from getting sued for all they're worth).

Finally, the Mass Effect universe was a cover funded largely by a top secret, multi-national agency that has been in contact with a real alien government and real species just like those found in the game. The cover was to make it so any potential leaks could be dismissed as a viral marketing stunt. Their ambassador will be making an appearance at the UN right now. Don't worry, the reapers aren't real though.

What? You did say "dream" announcement right?
