Am I allowed to install ME2 on a friends computer.. I realise only one of us will be able to play (login to origin) at a time.. but is it possible or allowed? I really want my friend to get Mass Effect but he won't buy it I'm hoping letting him get a taste of ME2 will sell him..

(edit: Also read that it is possible for 2 people to be logged into the same origin account. Does this mean he can play ME2.. while I play ME3?)

Yeah I know. But a bit hard to convince someone to pay ~80 dollars(including DLC..) on an old game.. Figured if he plays ME2 off of my account.. which already has all the DLC.. he would definitely buy ME3.. cause honestly who can play ME2.. and not want to instantly buy ME3...

Your friend could play me2 and you me3. It should definitely work if you turn your internet off so you would log in to origin offline (no multiplayer). Don't know if you can be logged in at same time.

Whether it is allowed ... no idea

Checked if I could access online features (DLC, multiplayer) of both games at same time on same computer. Worked fine.

If one is already logged in, Origin gives the option to the other user that he/she can play in offline mode.

This isn't quite a solution to your stated issue, but you could just outright buy the DVD version of ME2. I don't think it uses Origin (though I may be wrong as I don't have EA's classics version, but the old retail boxed DVD) and it's very cheap right now.

I'm fairly sure Origin is not that happy about installing things to multiple computers that are not your own. Heck, even your own.

Just a thought.
