Have you tried playing a game? I think I read some where the negative points self-fixed after playing a game.

No, they don't.
As with basically every single one of the countless (more or less game-breaking) bugs in ME3 MP it doesn't fix itself in any way, nor is EA/BW adressing it, or us, properly about it. A patch (or several) from now might fix it, but I'm kind of doubting it's on the horizon, seeing as they still haven't done diddly squat about more important bugs like character wipes, severe crashes or connection issues rendering the game unplayable, etc.

Many games. My infiltrator points at lvl 19 are now at -6.

After promoting the class one more time the bug resetted and the character reverted back to normal.
