I don't expect them to announce it at PAX. But they better do it sometime.

I am very much on the fence at this point. It truly could go either way.
I certainly hope they will listen to the feedback but they might just as well want to do their own thing until the bitter end (which we already have, actually).

They're going to beat around the bush and pretend the issue isn't as big as it really is

"Vocal Minority"

So No, I don't expect to hear any announcements on things the fans genuinley care about.

Retake Omega, MP DLC, Sure, nothing that 95% of the fanbase are asking for right now of course

Don't think they'll properly address the problem, can still hope though.

If they want to keep their fanbase and squeeze at least another few bucks out of us they yes they will

If they don't their fanbase will start melting at light speed until E3 by which point it will be a shell of its former self.

We were told to hang on to our ME3 saves and that if we knew what they were planning we'd never get rid of our ME3 game.

this, to me, sounds more like they dont want us to get our money back for a sub standard product and hope were dumb enough to wait until were no longer entitled to do so.... but maybe thats just the cynic in me talking since they didnt commit to anything yet.

Not really. I try to keep my expectations low.

And I will never be disappointed, and it is not often that I am surprised. I doubt this time will be any different.

I hope they announce something to atleast appease the fanbase at PAX. Whether they do or not will determine if ME3 goes the way of DA2 for me.

No, the question is - are they going to try to charge us 10 euro for new ending that makes sense?!
Do I need to remind you about From Ashes and how they lied to us about when it was made? The fact that the DLC was already on our discs, all we needed is 100kb patch to unlock(which I didn't buy and I will not)? It's like to buy a piece of land with a cherry tree t the middle but then the old owner to tell you "Hey, you just bought that land but give me extra if you want eat the fruits of the cherry tree...nevermind you bought the whole land and the tree was there"
Huh.  This is what heppens with you work with EA...

Nope. They'll do something that'll enrage the fanbase even more, like they did the last 3-4 weeks.

The minimum would be an announcement of when an announcement on ending dlc will come. If all it is deflection and defense then i'll be very disappointed.

The announcement of any DLC, other than ending DLC will be met with a groan, followed by furior. They either have to talk about fixing the ending, or they're just gonna dodge questions on it for the entire presentation.

I bet how they talk about the kinetic rather than the ending.

Best case scenario: "Hey everyone. I know there is a lot of anger in the community regarding the endings. Well... we've only given you 3, here are the other 13!!!!!" queue standing ovations in the audience. (Also don't give me that bull that there are 16 endings in the game now.  At most, there's 6 counting the minimal cutscene changes)

Likely scenario: "We understand the concerns regarding the ending, and we will be creating an expansion to finish the story for good. This will take some time to produce, but know that we're hard at work for you guys!"

Worst case scenario: "O hai gusy, here's yur Omega DLC and MP mapz. LOL you didn't liek the ending? LRN2SMRTER, all teh hipsterz get the ending lolololol. Also there's a dedicated Diana Allers DLC coming in may for 14.99".

It has nothing to do with fixing the ending so to speak it just needs to be brushed out a bit more because franky it confused me more than a five headed duck that swims backwards

Jennifer hale was asked in an interview yesterday did bioware contact her about a new ending and she's heard nothing yet. I'd say they are going to stick with the silly tactic of explaining their endings that nobody likes. Sorry 1% of people polled like.

No I don't.

Frankly, I'm still expecting to have a PDF called 'Clarification' emailed to the email account I use for my EA account.

BioWare just don't have any other option that will not trigger massive fan leave.

They will announce the ending fix at PAX. No matter if it will be DLC or a patch.

Someone at PAX needs to hit them with a genuinely difficult question, not something vague and easy to brush off with a general statement about listening to feedback, having future plans or replying with a question about what we think they did right.

Someone needs to ask them what their response is to Amazon/Origin/Play.com offering refunds for "product not as described" reasons. Or ask them why the ending is ABC after saying it would not be ABC in May of last year. Or about the Forbes articles.

It needs to be a direct question that hits on a specific problem with the ending, like the teleporting squadmates, Joker's retreat, or the Geth/Quarians proving the Catalyst wrong.

If questions are screened and questioners are planted, people need to be polite but loud and firm, stating "that's not good enough" or "this isn't speculating, this is protest and backlash" so the panel can hear you clearly, even if it gets a couple of you thrown out.

Best of all, people at the DA3 panel beforehand should ask things like "how are you going to make sure DA3 doesn't receive the same overwhelming negative fan response that ME3 (and DA2) received?" or "how are you going to regain the trust of the fans when making DA3 PR statements, after the ME3 PR disaster where you said things were going to happen then delivered the exact opposite?".

They know whats waiting for them at PAX. They must have something positive and concrete to offer if they want this problem to go away or risk abandonment of their main fanbase.

1. We know a lot of you are disappointed in the endings. We stand by our blahblahblah however we are working on a solution to this and it will be good. Please be patient.

2. We're proud to announce new MP dlc and singleplayer dlc, retake Omega blahblahblah.

If 1 happens, I will continue holding this line. (it ain't heavy, it's my brother.) If 2 happens, we part ways.
