Jar Jar
Possibly the most annoying character ever concieved. I actually can no longer watch the prequels (which is a blessing) because my blood pressure ramps up everytime one of the f*cking floopyloops opens their damn mouths.

Starbrat
Single-handedly derails an otherwise epic trilogy and taints the enjoyablity and replayability of the games. Also trying to understand his warped non-euclidian logic makes my brain hurt.

Thoughts?

+1 and Lucas wised up and put Jar Jar in far fewer scences as the series went on while Star Jar just... ugh.

Here's how I see it: Starchild was a total fail in the writing department. However Jar Jar was a total fail not only in writing, but also design and voice acting.

 Jar jar had a lot of help ruining films and he didn't ruin the originals. Starkid ruined an epic saga in TEN MINUTES!

Jar Jar was just annoying, but the Catalyst did actual damage to the lore of the game in a way I've never seen in any other fantasy or sci fi setting, including Midiclorians.

I don't get all the hate to Jar Jar. Sure he was an annoying pointless character but he didn't royally f'up the entire plot of the series, unlike someone else.

Exactly. Unless Jar-Jar is revealed to be Palpatine's hidden master there is no way Jar-jar can be as harmful as starchild.

At least I can sit down and watch Ep-1 with my nephew and watch him get some enjoyment out of the Jar-Jar character. (His mom wont' let him watch Ep-3 due to all the young-lings getting murdered and other 'darker' stuff, but he isn't in that one much anyway)

The plot device for the creatively bankrupt has no redeeming qualities at all. Well, I guess from the writers prospective it was the 'easy' button. To bad the writers missed that day in class when they explained that sort-of storytelling device was abandoned centeries ago-and for good reason.
