Starbrat. Jar-Jar did not single-handedly destroy all possible enjoyment of a beloved science fiction franchise--he had lots of help from a lot of other aspects of The Phantom Menace, such as an atrocious script, ridiculous plot, and utterly loathsome little boy who can't act. Starbrat, on the other hand, managed to retroactively sour the entire (superior!) ME universe all on his own. And he was able to do it in less than 10 minutes, too! That's some efficient ruination there.

I think a more apt comparison would be the whiny boy band refugee Anakin from the prequels vs. Starbrat. Both of them cause damage not only to their "own" products, but the ones that came before as well.
