My Best friend sent a video of her playing ME2 taken by her boyfriend during a Husk section she's yelling at the screen and cursing out the "Zombies" and is both beautiful and adorable {especially her voice} eventually she noticed the camera and said she looked terrible then the clip cut out.
Even as much as I hate everything thats going on I still smile when I See it. So years from now when ME is forgotten it will be in my Nostalgia bin for that video of my Best friend playing. Sitting beside the memories of playing the Dreamcast with another friend. or the First time i played Super Mario 64 {In a Walmart Electronics Section}
I know someone else here has the memory of their daughter running around imitating a MP Krogan but who else has memories to share?

Also the fact that I played ME2 beginning to end almost without interruption. The in game timer said said 38 hours, I only stopped once to sleep for about five hours after playing about 24 hours (I don't count the bathroom breaks, and I ate food while playing, haha). The "sad" part is I was working when ME2 came out and I was unemployed when ME3 came out, ME3 didn't have the same hold on me.
Oh, and the Mako. I used to love trying to get the thing to flip over, I know it was almost impossible, but it was fun for me.

I remember getting so hyped up about the original game from all the previews, and then stories started going around that some stores like K-Mart were unintentionally breaking the street date and selling it a week early.
So I drove around town to a few K-Marts, but none of them seemed to have the game out. Then the last one I visited, I was about ready to walk away from the desk when the electronics lady called out, "Hey, come back, I found that game you were looking for!" and managed to completely miss the "Don't sell until...." label plastered on the top as she ran it through and checked it out for me.
And so my love affair with the Mass Effect universe began a week early. And I loved it so much, I had finished it once and was well on my way through my second playthrough before the actual street date ever hit.

Having Javik as a squadmate was even better. I was a husk prothean- fighting the reapers. With a prothean.

It took me an hour to get through the first 10-15 minutes of ME2. From the time I saw Cerberus on the load-up screen to the time I finally got the Normandy SR-2, I was freaking out. I didn't take the Cerberus-related background, but I remembered them from ME1 far too well. I got Shepherd to Omega and started moping and trying to get Shep s***faced, 'cause I was sure this was all going to go poorly.
Somewhere in the middle of this, I decided to read through the first of the recruitment dossiers. And I got to archangel's. I was talking to a friend who had previously watched someone else play through the game, and I told her, "Archangel.... He sounds like Garrus. They haven't specified this guy's species, and this sounds like exactly the kind of crazy scheme he'd get up to. No rules and plenty of justice to hand out."
She kept her poker face, but did proceed to celebrate with me when I finally got to his reveal.

Harby's laser at the end of ME3 unhuskified me AND Turned me human. Talk about your space magic.

No but seriously, most of ME1 and 2 are fondly remembered by me, flaws and all. The suicide mission in 2 was fantastic (the music still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.)
