POST IN THIS THREAD IF YOU ARE NOT BUYING DRAGON AGE 3.
Borrowing, renting or buying the game used DO COUNT because Bioware doesn't get the sale.
Feel free to tell Bioware why you are not buying it.
This thread is to help Bioware not waste their production costs on what may become a pointless venture. I hope I am wrong but I believe I am right.
Dear Bioware don't bother to make DA3. The people in this thread are not buying it.

DA3 is already in production, and they're not going to stop just because a few people on the forums say to do otherwise.
While I'm disappointed that they shelved "The Exiled March", I'm hoping that DA3 does turn out to be a great game, as I'm a fan of the franchise and want to see it do well and improve.

I'm going to wait until a few people have played through it and then see what their opinion is. Of course, if the demo shows a paraphrase dialog wheel, I definitely won't be buying it.

Well, it depends on the info. But as for now, the news has been bad, mostly. So yeah, I probably won't be in the marketing demographic.
This makes me a sad (former) Bioware fan...

While I would personally prefer Bioware to make a new stand-alone game like Jade Empire, so that there are no expectations for combat / story / choice imports, I still have every intention of buying DA3. Why? Because despite the flaws, I still find Bioware games to be far more enjoyable than pretty much any other game out there, and I love the lore of Thedas.
I do have to wonder what you are suggesting Bioware do instead. Disband? Get drunk in a bar and cry about how it will never be able to create a decent game again? That's giving up. The Dragon Age franchise isn't in a situation where it should just be discarded and forgotten. And it's arrogant to think that making a thread like this has any bearing on their decision as a company.
In fact, I don't even know why I'm validating this by posting in it... procrastination will do that, I suppose.

I was among the disappointed with DA2 but I will probably still buy DA3 because I do like the world and lore. I don't think I will preorder though; I would like to get a feel for how the game is before I commit.

I will wait for further info.
If DA3 is still designed with mindset that players to direct their characters behind the scene instead of providing a role for player to be in the character's shoe, then not only I'll not buy DA3, I'll stop purchasing any BioWare's game in future. It will be obvious to me that BioWare's game is no longer my cup of tea ( as proven by their latest games like DA2, ME 2, ME 3 and SWTOR ).

I'll probably buy one copy, but I might do things to it that would make Jessica Chobot and her PSP look tame. . . and make Varric and Bianca blush. xD

It' have the dialog wheel
It' have a forced human protagonist
It'have the dragon age 2 "art" direction

This. In spite of all its problems, I still enjoyed DA2, so I'll probably preorder DA3 once they reveal the Collector or Signature Edition or whatever they call it this time around.

I'm going to pre-order the Collector's Edition, too. On release day I will be standing outside my local game store at 8:55 with a coffee in one hand and a Danish in the other. (At least, this is what happened with DA2, and I'm happy with how it worked out.)

Can't agree more. Bioware have to really mess up big time to change my mind about that, and I don't think they will. I didn't love DA2, but I still got my money's worth and did multiple playthroughs.
Well, I might reconsider if the fixed protagonist turns out to be a ghast, but I'm fairly positive that won't be the case...
