Obsolutely. I completely understand where the complaints are coming from, and even agree with the majority of them. But Bioware are more likely to listen to those issues and maybe even address them if they are done so in a way that is not wrapped up in hyperbole. In my opinion any debate needs to be kept rational in order to be effective. This whole 'ME3 is incomplete!' issue is something I've seen bouncing around for a while now, and I thought I'd just weigh in with my own thoughts. I'm not looking to start another arguement, and certainly not trying to degrade the greviances that some people have over the endings, I'd like to make that clear.

lol damn stole the words right outta my mouth to demand something is insane and I actually really enjoyed the game for the most part thought it was very well done.

I quit playing catch up around page three.

I think Gamble was referring to extensive DLC plans. In light of recent events, such plans could be scaled back quite a bit. The hardcore fan base is the group that could be relied upon to buy everything. We are also the group most disappointed by the ending and broken promises.

maybe it IS something awesome.

The reason people are so negative is because we have learnt to stop believing Bioware when they make such vague "exciting sounding" statements.

Not saying it won't be awesome, but to take it from Bioware's word at this point would be incredibly naive.

It seems like it was made after the ending backlash had already begun. I doubt he would be so out of touch with the fanbase as to believe Omega or MP DLC would appease them, since it wouldn't address the ending issues at all.

For me it doesn´t make sense if he really only meant pre-ending DLC.

Maybe a big new piece of the galaxy to visit...

There was always something that left me wondering about he galaxy map, namely what I like to call the "ghost clusters": as you travel around a red line appears with nodes showing the Mass Relay jumps the Normandy makes, sometimes though there will be a few nodes in what appears to be a non existant cluster, by passing the cursor over said node the travel line will appear, as if it was a "legal" cluster, only you can't visit it because there's nothing there...

Even more oddly, a few of these "ghost clusters" have the little Reaper icon pop up over them at some point, indicating the Reapers invaded that cluster...
Why go through all the trouble of identifying specific points on the Galaxy Map (and activate triggers for reaper invasions) for cluster you are incapable of visiting...

By the end of the game I counted al least three of these "ghost clusters", maybe there's something to it...

That epilogue is the biggest reason I believe the game has no ending.
Small child: I want to hear more.
Old man: OK, fine, just one more story.
Pop-up: BUY DLC FOR MORE OF THE LEGEND

It's as if the game goes out of its way to tell you you didn't get what you paid for and you have to pay some more.

It could just be that there were clusters there in the previous games, and they're on the routes...  But perhaps you're right.

I'm not comparing the content of xpacs with modern DLC.  I'm saying that games are planned to release "incomplete" and DLCs (or xpacs) are planned long before the original game is even finished.

I'm saying that all the self-righteous indignation on here about "buying an incomplete product" is...man, i can't even find the right word.  Naive?  Annoyingly innocent?  laughable? 

I don't know what the DLC for ME3 will hold, but to be angry that you'll have to pay more for the conclusion to the story is like....i know...it's like those people who were mad that the Fellowship of the Ring (movie or book) ended so abruptly and that there was no way that could be the real ending!  OMG!

Cliffhanger/DLC for game 1... well, ok. Cliffhanger/DLC for the game that's supposed to be the "end of the journey"... a little different. There's a different set of customer expectations at play.

The OP is misquoting. He said if we knew what they were planning, we'd keep our COPIES, not our SAVES forever. This is almost certainly MP. It's also their desire to not have people trade their games in three days after the release (that's how long it took me to beat, and seeing as how there's no replay value...)
