I never noticed how bad the character models were.  I mean they look great and I didn't even notice the lines that connect the different body parts because the armor covers it up.  However, when I created a new character, I chose a haircut that had a see through line that goes across the back of his head and surely enough the arms and legs were the same, which I don't care about but the head is annoying.  Why didn't Bioware take more time to fix this?  It looks pretty rushed to me and it's a shame because the characters overall look pretty good until you notice these lines during conversations.  I wish Bioware would fix this but I highly doubt it.

I'd imagine that they polished the more obvious over the gritty details. They've got a long list of things to do, a short time to do it (relatively), so they have to prioritize. Work out kinks in dialogue and balance, or take a microscope to the meshes you'll rarely see...

Not saying it's any excuse, and it seems like such an "easy" thing to do, but we're not necessarily the ones who made the game or make AAA games in the first place.

I agree but some of the hairstyles are pretty obvious. I'm not sure if it's more obvious on certain races but the dwarfs seem to be the worst from what I've seen so far. I don't understand why some hairstyles show the lines and some don't.
