Well to be honest I would postpone my judgement until I can actually see what they did. "Clarification" and "closure" can mean lots of things. It can be something that for most of us will change absolutely nothing. It can also be something that will basically rewrite our understanding of those endings. By giving it a very long stretch you could even say that with clarification and closure people will get their blue babies and whatever else they wish for. Of course justifying Starchild and other humongous problems with current endings would be VERY hard. But it does not mean it is straight impossible. I will give them my benefit of the doubt until I see what they did. I am sure they are aware now what backlash will occur if they fail to deliver.
Edit: I still believe adding more options and keeping current in game (for those who liked them) would be best way to deal with this. But well, we shall see.

I doubt they can fix the gaping holes in the plot and logic errors with a "clarification and epilogue" so my answer will be big fat "No"

I will be satisfied that events transpired as I predicted (though actually I expect the announcement about the ending "new content initiative" will come in a few weeks, PAX may just be an announcement to wait)

It depends entirely how they address the current outcry from fans at PAX and how they show off what they have planned. I certainly don't want to find out IT is true only for them to not add closure to the current ending, without closure and tweaks, IT itself cannot work perfectly. We need it to work perfectly in order for it to mesh well with the story in it's current form.
