Ah yes "New Ending" EA have dismissed that claim
If there's no new Ending DLC, only "clarification" and "epilogues" come PAX, will you be satisfied.

The current ending is unsalvageable. Trying to explain it is just going to dig the hole even deeper.
GhostChild & The Catalyst are just awful.

No. Explained crap is still crap. Starbrat had to be braindead in the time the first game happened.(and before, when the protheans manipulated the keepers). Thats the only explaination.

If it explains the 4 points below then YES i would be fine.
1. Clarify the 3 different endings.
2. Explain how my teammates ended up with Joker.
3. Explain the catalyst and who created the reapers.
4. Explain the EMS and what is needed for the different endings for SP.

Absolutely not, I would be severely disappointed with "clarification".
Unless the clarification is for colourblind people. In which case, the red is on the left. But don't worry, they are all the same anyway guys.

If the expansion uses the Indoctrination Theory and the DLC expands on what happens to Shepard and the Mass Effect Universe after he/she fights off indoctriantion (or not as the case may be) then yes, if it is well done.
If the DLC takes the endings literally and just expands on them then no.

Depends
Indoc theory
or
"Screw you casper"
along with some explanation of said casper and plot holes it is possible but that would require some effort, the same kind that did not go into the current ending .

Does the 'clarification' completely nullify the current ending? E.g. Indoctrination theory. That I could live with.
If it's just 'more of the same', then no.
No!
Get rid of the starchild. Restore sanity!

There's this thing called a ‘poll’ if you just want a yes/no.
Answer: it depends on the clarification and epilogues. If they can satisfactorily explain the rationale for Shepard's actions in the ending sequence, the physics of the different explosion colours, the situation with the relays, what happened with Normandy and how it will get towed back to society, how all of the squad definitely don't get stranded who knows where for all eternity, and how they finally do end up, and Shepard's hospital stay, or funeral, or reincarnation as a synthetic being be it a virtual AI or EDI-like…that would be acceptable.
Would I be happy with that? Not really, but it's at least better than what it is now.
Would BioWare win me back as a pre-order can't go wrong customer? No.
And I sure as hell won't pay for it.
