Yes so I can move on and refrain from purchasing any more BW products. I just want a firm resolution. If DLC, won't pre order but might purchase BW products. If crappy clarification, no purchase of BW products anymore.

Consider this for a second, what if their ending that they showed was the Legend of Shepard as being told by the stargazer. It could be thousands of years old and mostly fictionalized account of what actually happened, with really the three big things, apparent control/synthesis/destroy being what was interpreted by future generations.
They can go back and pretty much redo the entire citadel situation and still it would fall under clarification.

Bioware said they would not change the ending. So the best you can hope for is maybe a few cutscene about the Normandy and epilogue that will be retcon anyway in ME4.

mass effect would be the best game series of our generation
the best sci-fi opera EVER made
and they screwed up really, really hard. I can't think of a worst ending.
They say they have to protect their artistic intregrity. I say that the ones who are protecting art here are us.
