In my initial feedback, I said I like the final choice as such. If it makes sense with the new DLC, and clarifies certain ambiguous things in a certain way, I can imagine that I'll be satisfied. I can't tell from an announcement alone, though.

No. Problem was that ending didn't fit in the first place. Clarification doesn't change that.
If they do the clarification well? It will help fix some of the terrible, and maybe bring it up to bad ending status.

Okay, so we've reached that point where all they're offering is clarification and no I'm not even close to satisfied. Don't give up the fight, that's exactly what they're trying to get us to do.
