There's nothing bittersweet on ME3 endings.

So yeah, a massive failure.

I was expecting bitter sweet... what I got was soul crushing and confusing.

So yeah... massive failure that was made worse by the mountain of lies BioWare buried themselves under before shooting themselves in the foot.

Failure. It could have been bittersweet if it explained things, got rid of the nonsensical Normandy escape/ditching Shepard bit, and added closure. I understand that some things are unavoidable, but the ending left me hanging on a cheap cliffhanger.

Massive Failure. They got the bitter right, but instead of adding sweet the piled even more bitter on top.

^This.

Besides were is the choice of an RPG game ? Even Jade Empire had bitter endings, but the player had to choose them !

It's a nihilistic utter failure. Bad writing and the writers should feel bad about themselves, for failing their fans so completely and costing their company the loyalty of said fans.

At its current state, the ending is an absolute failure.

I can see only "bitter"...where is the "sweet" part? Normandy crash? Not sweet! Mass relay destruction? Not sweet! Stranded in Sol-system? Not sweet! Citadel destruction? Not sweet...

Massive Failure (Mass Fail? LOL).  Shooting that destroy tank was the only fulfilling part for me, knowing I was finally destroying the Reapers.  The aftermath completely undid that though.  It would've been better to let the Reapers harvest this cycle and hope the next cycle beats them, than the catastrophe that you cause by picking Blue, Green, or Red.

As is the ending is bitter. There may be sweet in it but I couldn't find it. It won't be a massive failure until I know what bioware is planning.

Thane's death = Bittersweet
Mordin's death = Bittersweet
Legion's death = Bittersweet
Anderson's death = Bittersweet
More death besides these main characters - wasnt there enough death?! NO they had to wipe out 90% of the population!
The ending = massive failure - only bitter.

There's no 'sweet' in the ending whatsoever! Bitter and a failure.

Massive failure. Also I hate to nitpick it's not thousands of species stranded on Earth.

ME3's ending can only be bittersweet if you look far beyond the scope of the game's plot. IT aside, the ending leaves the galaxy to rebuild by its own rules, but only after the current galactic civilization is destroyed due to starvation because if its dependency on the galactic infrastructure that the relays provide, or due to galactic genocide if the relays get destroyed Arrival style. Millennia later, but most likely millions of years later, new life can make its way to create a new galactic society.

So on the short term it's a massive failure.

And on the long term, and I mean on the very, very, very long term, it's bittersweet.

Well, Relays blowing up everywhere means no more Rannoch, Tuchanka, Palaven, Sur'kesh, Thessia, Illium...

Can't see the "sweet" beyond that.

Bittersweet? Where's the sweet part? It's completely bitter, unhappy, unfulfilling, and disappointing.

Massive failure... Of course one ending should be bittersweet... But all that there is now JUST bittersweet... No variety and no choices...

In this ending nothing we did mattered... I call that abysmal failure to the power of ruining the entire series.

A fail of such epic proportions; it may have killed the franchise.

Well they didn't want it to be forgotten....................
