Still trying to figure out where the line comes from that has Wrex asking to face Shepard in single combat and die honorably.

These are painful to listen to. Friends and allies all have to be dead for you to hear them...and it just reminds me that we couldn't save anyone, in the end.

Yep pretty sure she isn't in there....

Yet another insult to Jack fans I guess. Why did they bother to rework her image if their going to treat her with such contempt.

I don't think she has anything; she doesn't even have a chance of dying until after all of the dream sequences have passed, so there wouldn't be an opportunity to hear her anyway.

I suppose this is an alternate version to the confrontation of Wrex and Shepard already in the game - perhaps it was cut?

Are there any audio engineers who can tell if these lines were just manipulations of original takes, or if the whisper effect can only be achieved with the voice actor being instructed to whisper in the booth? Because many of these lines sound identical to their original iterations in the game, but some of them sound really... whispery. Like I'm wondering if, for example, the ME1 lines for Kaidan and Ashley were chosen to be re-recorded for the ME3 recording sessions.

Also, Thane's lines seem to be original lines, not heard before in the games. Could they have been extracted from an original Thane mission that was pulled from the game, or did someone take the time to write him new lines just for the nightmare scene? (The latter seems pretty dubious since that's a lot of extra steps for something that most people won't even be able to make out.)

Was it ever proven that there were voices in the dreams, like some people reported? I remember one common thing that I and a lot of others thought they heard was "Don't trust him, Shepard" and voices saying "Stay away from him" when you neared the Child.
