That hardly changes anything. They promised a product that wouldn't contain A, B or C endings and they came up with A (red), B (green) and C (blue). Regardless of what they may come with to fix this (which only adds clarification), it does not fix the fact they shipped a product that did meet up to what they promised.Tiax Rules All wrote...

I live here in REALITY. Where you don't sue people because you hate a games ending.
I get the problem now, you have no idea what you are talking about.
Funny, I just proved that the OP has no case.
That there has been no false advertising in the sense that you would need to prove in a COURT OF LAW
And that thread with Casey Hudson quotes. An article from May of 2011. At a time early in production.
Sorry, but things change. That article was written probably at a time in early story development where they were deciding on what to keep and what not to keep in. For a title that would be RELEASED almost a year later.
It only demonstrates yet again, the ignorance of "fans" when it comes to game production.

this has quotes from before and after the game went gold.

one by one:
“For people who are invested in these characters and the back-story of
the universe and everything, all of these things come to a resolution in
Mass Effect 3. And they are resolved in a way that's very different
based on what you would do in those situations.”
--- nope nothing false in this statement. There was a resolution and each are different based on what you would do.
Hudson: “Yeah, and I’d say much more so, because we have the ability to
build the endings out in a way that we don’t have to worry about
eventually tying them back together somewhere. This story arc is coming
to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot more
different. At this point we’re taking into account so many decisions
that you’ve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It’s
not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say
how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C.....The
endings have a lot more sophistication and variety in them.”
“We have a rule in our franchise that there is no canon. You as a player decide what your story is.”
---- nothing false in this statement. We are able to achieve 7 different endings based on the choices we made all the way from ME1.
“There is a huge set of consequences that start stacking up as you
approach the end-game. And even in terms of the ending itself, it
continues to break down to some very large decisions. So it's not like a
classic game ending where everything is linear and you make a choice
between a few things - it really does layer in many, many different
choices, up to the final moments, where it's going to be different for
everyone who plays it.”
--- correct. we got a bunch of consequences based on the decisions we made..many of which were difficult decisions to make. Do we lie to our squad mates/ do we take the moral high ground. do we sacrifice the lives on the ones we knew...etc.
“Fans want to make sure that they see things resolved, they want to get
some closure, a great ending. I think they’re going to get that.”
---- yes we got 7 different endings. Closure guaranteed in at least 5 of them. 2 of which are left open. whoopee doo.
so again, I ask for SPECIFIC and KNOWINGLY FALSE ADVERTISING.
I've yet to see anyone back this up.

REading over the details from another thread (yes there are 16 actual endings)
Since I destroyed the Collector base in me2, there are 8 available based on this decision (in all my playthroughs, I destroyed the base)
IF you didn't destroy the Collector base in ME2 there are 8 endings based on this decision.
So sorry to rannok and Human Typhoid, there are more than 7 endings. All based on a decision you made at the ending of ME2.

As I pointed out in response to the last time you asked, Casey said
there wouldn't be a simple A B or C ending, this isn't even the tip of
the iceberg there was a thread this morning that had a small list or
direct quotes from Casey Hudson and Co where they said something would
or wouldn't happen and that something didn't or did happen.
We didn't get an A, B or C ending. WE had the choice of 17 endings dependant on what you did from ME1 through ME3.
Dude what? We only have 6 different videos that can play. That is not 17 different endings, unless you use completly different math system.

If this stuff takes as long in the USA as it takes in Holland, it'll be several months, maybe even years before we so much as hear anything more on this anyway...

What choice man? You get to choose whether you want to ruin the galaxy in red, blue or green. How is that a real choice?<_<

you count 8 files. 8 Files of various sizes, that have programming in them that you can't see.
some if then statements that you are not aware of.
Do you honestly think that all 16 endings would need to be in 16 sepearate files? talk about coding inefficiency
1 file covers two choices based on what you did in ME2, based on my 10 year outdated game programming I did in high school.

Sorry it was 2 buttons and a convenient red tower that when you shoot explodes causing the reapers to die. Dude ya got 3 choices you picked one and the cinematics are slightly tweaked, Joker runs away in all of them the explosion is Red,Green, or blue and the Mass Relays blow up. I'm just being real about it that's what it was.

Destroy: kill all reapers....and any sythetics
Control: stop Reapers
Synthesis: combine all organic and synthetic, essentially stop the Reapers
Sounds like off buttons to me.
