Well I'm back, continuing to write Chapter 8. There's so much action and combat that I'm starting to think that this Novel is being directed by Micheal Bay.

Don't be discouraged. The plot is ridiculously better than a Micheal Bay movie. But that doesn't mean much, practically everything else is.

Another segment of Chapter 8 is up. More to come today. Chapter 8 could be the longest chapter so far. So much stuff to get through. Chapter 9 will be interesting too. I've kind of got greedy eyes  can't wait to start it.

Despite publishing 2 rockstar magnitude chapters in the last 2 days (5,000 and 4,000 words long. That's 9,000 words in two days. Think of the last time you wrote a 1,800 word essay and multiply that by 5.) the site has suffered low traffic in the 300's.

Have to say I'm getting more into Jack in this than I ever did in the game. The Anderson chapter was my favourite but the Jack storyline is slowly overtaking it. I should add this is more in a "female solidarity" type way rather than anything more disturbing! At least I think it is.

Cool, cause she's totally badass. Strong character but she's not ****y. And I think that's what turned a lot of people off about her, they mistook her on a first impression and didn't take the time to learn more about her.

Holy crap I didn't know. But I already passed this mark:

Novel
~ 50,000 -110,000

at chapter 8 I passed 90k Oh god.

Epics and Sequels
~ Over 110,000 words

Guess this one's an epic. As it stands it'll finish at around 200k words. There's at least 4 chapters left could go farther. It depends on how the plot naturally wraps up.

Oops  my mistake it's actually around 40k right now, perfect for the first half of the novel. No worries then when it's done it'll be right on time.

I ported the 40,000 word (so far) novel into a word-processor document. There are only a handful of typo's so it's no big deal. I'll fix them once the novel is complete. 

When it is done and that will be in the next two weeks. I will submit the manuscript to Bioware and Del Ray for review. Even though I know they'll reject it. Because all their books are contracted. It will be worth trying. If only to try. It is disappointing though, because the Novel is good. It's really good. And they should at least read it. Even though I know in all likelyhood they won't.

Um, I wonder what it would take to get Drew Karpyshin back to co-author a Mass Effect book. That is if he likes what I wrote of course.
