Wrex is referring to the piles of Reaper rubble adorning the beach.

to the rest, @soldiers ending with ashley/garrus, I'm not sure if those "jokes" on the citadell with garrus really fit in that situation but overall the idea is well done, although there would still be some plot holes like why did he suddenly change his mind, leave his team and go into the ventilation shaft / predicted the illusive man
the ending was maybe a bit to bright for my taste but obv. better than the current ... whatever this is

Someone else mentioned the Jokes were out of place. I'll admit, maybe they don't fit. But maybe its that I have a different sense of the characters. It seemed to me that the entire game was filled with jokes that brought levity to heavy situations. Like Shepard commenting about the Yahg during the mission on Sur'kesh - "There goes the next Shadow Broker." and Garrus says to Liara - "Could have sworn I heard him say T'soni". And that's not the only example. And I should mention that from the point Shepard leaves to activate the Crucible its all serious. Well, mostly.

Wow, that was quite good. Some of the character's dialogue didn't match perfectly but overall extremely satisfying compared to the current ending.

I loved,especially how good is the closure to the squadmates an the LI.The epilogue of Liara as a LI is amazing.Also,the away that the the choices matter is really well made.

Man, that was a lot of fun to read. A bit too much at parts with some melodrama, but all in all an ending like that would have made for a far more incredible, most importantly deserving, ending. Thanks for that.

Very nicely well written.
Only real disappointment is in the portrayal of the Infiltrator as a close-quarters specialist, instead of a Sniper specialist, which is how I play it.

There weren't any open set oportunities to showcase the sniper training other than the Brute Garrus beats Shep to the shot.

Very well written. By lightyears better than the original ending. Its fits particulary well with my Vanguard Shep who romanced Liara.

This was really good, much better than the ending we got! I love how you have links to the different options, if you choose renegade or paragon or if you did something from previous games or not. Thank you! And I've only read one, now I can see what my 'other' sheps would have gotten

Am I the only one who thought that a Sniper Rifle in close quarters was a foax-pa I mean even Garrus has his backup assault rifle?! I suppose I'll change it eventually. And by eventually I mean like next week.
