So yeah, very cool idea. Even though the endings sucked the soul out of me and left me as an empty shell of a man, I'd buy this DLC without a moment's hesitation.

This could also stand to have some useable goodies for Shep and his squad to sweeten the deal, like some sort of Prothean Armor for Shep, and maybe the Collector Rifle/some other type of Prothean gun.

Thanks! Glad you liked it! Yeah the endings nearly ruined the entire series for me too. Guess that's why I wrote this, to sort of get back in touch with the series that I've invested so much time and energy in.
And I love your suggestions. I could totally see the Protheans making battle armor for their future human "servants". More Prothean weapons, like a shotgun would be great too. The Particle Rifle that we have now is pretty sweet, but it really is for mid-long range.

HumingTurtle is right: Just walk in there with a omni-blade on your arm and melee anyone that gets in the way. I'll watch your flank while you load the intel. If Hudson walks in and attempts to stop us, my Mattock will assume direct control.

Pretty much makes all DLC pointless :/
Except no, because the relays didn't supernova.

Totally on board for this mission. I would pay YOU $10 in addition to the DLC price to get that in there. It even finds ways to make the endings less revolting with the emergence of new galactic travel options.

Hahaha thanks! Appreciate the feedback!

Totally agree. I hope its one of things that clear up in the EC, just so we can put the whole "relay exploding/everyone's dead" controversy to rest.

I wrote up an idea of a race that could aid the galaxy against the Reapers. This new species, called the Naqui, had over a dozen colonized planets and activated their relays after the Reapers arrival. They had knowledge of the Reapers due to Prothean beacons left on one of their worlds, and so built up their military in preparation for conflict. Since they are not bound by the Treaty of Farixen, the Naqui have several dozen Dreadnoughts, and a fleet that rivals the Turians.
Ifi were to assign numerical values, i would say:
Base: 600 war assets, with possibilities of increasing or decreasing them.

I'm failing to see why a near Halo ripoff/Lost Legion concept for a Fleet of ships that would have got destroyed anyway as a result of the Protheans war and their Combat doctrine be of any help.
Because we can salvage valuable tech/war assets along the way. Also, the search eventually leads us to an abandoned science outpost. There we find the schematics for a revolutionary new design of FTL travel, or a more modified design for a Conduit-like relay. I haven't decided which idea I like the best, but both of them allow for us to overcome the destruction of the relays at the end of ME3. Maybe even within a generation, galactic civilization would rise again to its pre-war level, with millions of more people surviving. All because of this last gift from the Protheans and their "lost fleet".

I support these ideas entirely, though they remind me of my own.

This sounds very interesting. Have you posted it as a thread? If not you should. I'd love to read it!

You should tri and get in reaperised Drell and Hanar as well, that'd be something to see. And Kolyat might work as well. But really good idea!
Also people saying 'Aww, there's no point everything dies' stop being so nihilistic. I thought the rest of the game was really good.
But again, really good idea!

I like the combination of ME1's "mystery" themes with the desperation of ME3. Now, if they keep squad dialogue in this, that would be sweet.
My only objections would be:
1. The Javik POI is a bit heavy-handed. I can't see the Prothean being so "oh, the trail leads here", or the trail being so obvious. Simply following the evidence, with the option of Shepard saying something like, "Well, he/she could have been on that escaped vessel" with Javik replying, "He/She is dead now, but it is possible. Regardless, we should follow this evidence, Commander. The war demands every resource."
Basically, Javik is hoping for a good outcome (clean death for POI), but is fully prepared and expecting to get **** on again. It's Shep who has the option to play detective, while Javik pretends to be only in it for the war assets.
2. This seems nearly Expansion Pack sized, not DLC. It would still be awesome, and maybe we could get more squad dialogue that way. (PS: I

Thanks! And awesome suggestion about the Drell and Hanar husks. Can you imagine a group of Hanar husks crawling towards you in a cramped hallway?

This is fricking amazing. Seriously, nice work. Submit this to Bioware if need be, using FedEx.

Ah thanks mate! I don't know if its that good, but if Bioware really likes it then I'd be amenable to letting them take it. As long as they help pay off some of my student loans of course
1.) Great suggestions. I'll try and work it in so it fits better with Javik's personality.
2.) Yeah your right, it is expansion sized. Honestly, the single player campaign as it is feels so, well short, compared to the other games. That's why I was hoping that sizewise, this idea would be comparable to Fable: The Lost Chapters.

This is a fascinating and very well thought out idea! That said, i never had any issues getting over 4000 EMS without multiplayer.
Thanks glad you enjoyed it! Also, I wonder how you crossed the 4000 ems threshold? A few people have datamined the games files and found that there's simply not enough war assets in game to achieve it without multiplayer.

Some people do have bugs in their save files that increases / or even doubles the value of assets.
I've got a few of them. Not sure how they happened or why, but they are the exception.
Also - Great Idea OP! Love it!

1) They would be Prothean ships, with Prothean interfaces, other than Shepard no one else (as far as we know) can actually read and understand Prothean language, with the sole exception of Vigil in ME1 that successfully interfaced its input to a comprehensible form for Shepard and his two teammates present during Vigil's speech, and the VI on Thessia. Perhaps there would be a VI on each ships doing the same for the entire alien crew, but I think it would be far-fetched... still, a possibility I guess.
2) Protheans were wiped out during their cycle and they surely used their ships to combat the Reapers. Their weaponry isn't necessarily more effective against Reapers than... say... a Thanix cannon's ability to pretty much "impale" a Reaper from one end to the other (and according to the Codex entry for the Thanix in ME3, the Alliance is "extensively" using the Thanix, we just never see it happen on-screen even once at the end from Alliance ships, thanks to the wonderful end game scenes we have right now). With that in mind, I myself would question the effectiveness of such a fleet, beyond just adding extra stuff to shoot at for Reapers that might perhaps slow them down a bit, if anything.
3) If such a fleet is found, with say... hundreds of ships, or at least a few dozens (I would expect hundreds if not more, we're indeed talking about a plan to give rise to millions of Protheans, many ships are needed for such a plan). Pretending that any alien crew could understand Prothean's interfaces and language and could thus pilot the ships, then who is actually going to provide said alien crew for the ships, when such crew, manpower and resources could be kept by the respective species for their own known and operable military vehicles, ships and various means of warfare? If you had the choice between using your own ships that you understand perfectly well, and sending crew to use them, or sending the crew on alien ships that might not be better, what would you do?
Dont know if these have been adressed buuuut
1) i believe Traynor said that Protheans had a program that could interface with other "slave" speices tech *for lack of a better term* making it easier to absorb them into the Empire. It wouldnt be too far fetched for them to have a VI like vigil on these ships, and with Javik able to provide basic insight and liara's lanague program she has in that time box, a fairly low grade/cost interface could be provided
2) Through out the game, it's said that prothean's where much more advance then the current cycle. Where as the current one barely had an idea how the mass realys worked, the prothean's had in fact could build them and did, even going as far as making a mini one that could send a tank half way across the galaxy. Thats right...a tank....that means no more troop transports and many other possibilitys. They also have partical tech that i believe not many other races have and who knows what other little goodies. It doesnt have to be weapons or bombs. A better way to patch people up, better sheilding or better biotic amps
3) reasons 1 and 2 kinda cover why u would use the ships. Even if you dont use them, you could always break them down and add what ever upgrades they have to your own. Maybe they have better sheilding? Maybe they are made out of a better material you didnt know about? maybe it has racing stripes and goes really fast!
Also, i love the idea of the Hanar home world.....i was very sad we didnt get to see any drell other then thane either or get to rock out with some elcor tanks when we picked them up.

Absolutely right about your first two points. But most of the ships are lost anyway, its just we get to recover a lot of useful tech, and some schematics for a new form of FTL travel or a Conduit-like relay device along the way. These schematics help us overcome the loss of the relay network in the end.
Totally agree with your last point, elcor tanks sounds awesome.
